  1. I hope you mean that transferring MONTHLY as opposed to once a year, you get the flexibility.
  2. Sorry but you are wrong. The heat felt from the outside unit is the heat extracted by the refrigerant and dissipated by the radiator and fan in the outside unit. NO air from inside the room where the inner unit is fitted goes outside. Watch the video again, and read lopburi's answer. Portable aircons are, as you say, useless because the heat extracted from the room just stays in the room.
  3. A 'normal' air-con, be it inverter or old style, DO NOT vent any air out of the room. They merely circulate the air whether cooling it, or de-humidifying it. The only thing which goes outside is the water which it extracts.
  4. Super cheap, nice hotel and lovely resort are not compatible.
  5. So continue the culling, including the dumpers!
  6. Most of the 'rainmaking' planes are Baslers, ie 75 year old Dakotas fitted with turbo-props, and based in Phitsanulok.
  7. Do you think I am going to watch this for 45 minutes? No way. Who was videoing it, who paid the taxi?
  8. True, but you still need that one transfer ON TOP of the 800/400, whereas if 65k per month, you can spend every last satang. If the monthly transfer is coming from a regular source eg Pension or house rental, you will not be getting any interest on it in the home country as it is brought here, assuming that the pension is around the 65k mark.
  9. Or more usually back down! 555
  10. Totally happy Jim. GBP is up, so just converted some into THB and stored in my Wise Account until the auto transfer on 1st of each month kicks in and I get my transfer, as a Foreign Transfer the next day. The conversion from GBP can also be automated to convert at a pre-determined exchange rate. Works perfectly , for me!
  11. Wise is only a DEBIT card, no CREDIT facilities. It is only your own money which is available.
  12. Used it for years in UK, Europe and here. No problems ever.
  13. Just interested in your reply saying that you will never use Wise.
  14. From where did you get that incorrect information? From my past experience transferring money from UK to Bkk Bank via Wise every month for several years, the Immigration have NEVER asked about the source of the funds.
  15. How can it be cheaper if, on top of the 800/400k in the bank, you also need to transfer money to live from?
  16. There is no EXACT date, as long as it is in a different month than the previous transfer, although it looks better to Mr IO if it is roughly on the same day each month. Is it really a chore to you to open the Wise App and in about 5 clicks the money is sent?
  17. And then drop dead from overwork, exhaustion and stress. 555
  18. Yes I know that, but the translation quoted led to believe both were needed, which is not. I am very fortunate that my Imm Office will accept the Combination Method, where as long as transfers and bank money add up to over Bht 800k, it is OK. I did 40k per month with 420k in the bank for two years, but now just 35k per month = 420k with a similar sum in the bank, suits me fine.
  19. This is wrong as it says you must have INCOME of 65k, where really you must TRANSFER 65k monthly. And then says also 800/400k in the bank. It is one or the other.
  20. Yes. You were giving True 900 per month out of which True was making say 300 profit. They give you PL matches at say 100 and so only make 200 profit. So yes, you are getting free footie.
