Just about to do Dubai trip. Air Asia from Phitsanulok to DMK is 20kg allowed/paid for. Emirates to DXB, 25kg. Crazy. What can I buy which weighs 5kg at BKK to put in my case? 555

We got a shiny new digital meter
KannikaP replied to lom's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Our meter is usually read on 17th of each month. PEA were giving discount if the usage was less than 300 units per month. A couple of months ago my consumption was 296 on the morning of the 17th, but they did not read it until 18th, so over 300 we went, hence no discount. Boo hoo. -
Emirates Cabin Baggage Cabin baggage allowances on an Emirates flight will depend on your fare: Economy: customers are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage, either a handbag or laptop bag, that may not exceed 55 x 38 x 20cm and must weigh no more than 7kg / 15 lbs. I seem to remember that at one point, British Airways allowed 23kg of cabin baggage. Lift that into the overhead lockers, eh? https://www.skyscanner.net/news/cabin-luggage-guide-hand-baggage-sizes-and-weight-restrictions. Look at this Mr Frog.

So TWO items of cabin luggage. Naughty naughty.

And those who suggest that it was all made by a God are also indoctrinated. Still we'll never know. It's where it's all going to end which matters more. -

Most çontrol circuits' run on DC, as in your telly, computer etc etc. The 'power'part is still AC as you say. I doubt whether the DC is çonverted back' to AC to run the compressor. -

For how long? A few seconds? My 12000 BTU Mitsu Normal usually takes just over a kilowatt when running. Does that mean SEVEN kilowatts to start up without tripping a 20 amp breaker. -
Change from 400k to monthly depost
KannikaP replied to HarshMellow's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
So you will have to keep the 400k in the bank for 12 months until you have transferred 12 x 40k = 480k. At least you can spend the 40k each month. -

A 90 day report is exactly what it says on the tin. If you stay over 90 days you must report. If you leave before your 90 days is up, you don't. The 90 days are reset when you re-enter Thailand

My 3BB was perfect over the weekend, using NORD VPN I was able to watch both Manchester teams qualify for the Cup Final, and the Chinese Grand Prix. All as normal.
-
Also had problem with 3BB WiFI. Called them and within 2 hours they were here, fitted a new router. No more problems. I have Nord VPN permanently on for my PC, lappy and phone. All work OK!

Bangkok Bank App Sending funds to UK
KannikaP replied to jasonr3255's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Yes, I have sent GBP from my Bkk Bank Foreign Currency Account, but the fees were not small. But if it's got to be done, then so be it. It had to be done with paperwork in the branch. -
Please explain further.
