  1. There is in P'lok, Central. And probably Phitchit.
  2. Forget it Scottie. There was 2G, then 3G, 4G, now 5G. He is so advanced he is NextG, and is ALWAYS correct. 555
  3. 5 Ways to Install Windows 11 on Unsupported Hardware (CPU & TPM) (technastic.com) It will take you a lot longer to learn Linux than to do this simple registry edit.
  4. Yep, looking at her I think any 'wood' would do.
  5. Please PM me to tell me what you mean.
  6. But Mr Kicking, make sure to save the article as a bookmark on your phone browser, or download it onto your phone, as you will not be able to follow the instructions on your PC.
  7. ME going forward. I have as much knowledge regarding Windows PCs as most people in the IT business having used Windows since DOS days. and am quite happy to extent it to members here who ask for help. Unfortunately hindered by ones 'who know better'.
  8. So completely irrelevant these days
  9. Go on, keep on. Have the last say.
  10. Welcome to my ignore list. Have a nice year.
  11. OK
  12. Come on, read my reply again. Of course 8GB is faster than 2, and an SSD is faster than a HDD. And it seems rather silly to me that the video compare a PC with 2GB of RAM. Once the PC is booted, programme loaded, data retrieved.try doing something with it. Let's end our tiff now, it's 2024.
  13. Yes, obviously.
  14. OK.
  15. The video proves that an SSD is faster than an HDD, and 8 GB of RAM is faster than 2GB..obviously. So doing ANYTHING, booting, opening a programme or retrieving data will be faster with 8GB, possibly more, and an SSD
  16. still not clear............................not sure. Why post this?
  17. Talk about stating the bloody obvious. As for the video......I do not understand German.
  18. Then of course, there is the ability in Windows to assign some space on your drive, HDD or SSD, to be Virtual Memory, to be used as and when needed. Or you can use a USB stick as RAM under certain circumstances.
  19. Of course there is a limit as to how much RAM your PC needs to do the work you are doing. Over that limit, more RAM will be visiting Miss Adams. A lot of video editing for example, or music recording will need more that surfing the web or cropping photos.
  20. Thank you Scottie. I know what's what with a PC since starting with MS DOS.
  21. I quite often put 555 on some of my replies if I want it to be taken lightly, but NO WAY am I trying to 'fit in with my Thai mates' because I do not have very many, and none of them read this forum.
  22. Incorrect. An SSD will make the PC boot faster, that is if you shut it down every night, and will possibly save you a minute every time you do boot up. Programs stored on the drive will load faster, and data will be accessed faster. But the actual computing speed of the PC is mainly governed by the amount of RAM available, as that is much faster than an SSD.
  23. Yes. But do you not think that 'they' are tired of people in their country are unable to speak very basic Thai.....count 1 to 10 for example.
