cremation only should be around 30-40,000 at the most expensive Bangkok temples, what's expensive is the nightly service with the sala rental, the monk fees, flowers, catering

there are Christian denominated cremation site but most Christian churches just move the body to Buddhist crematorium after the service at their church

Plus the food and drink for three days for people which I, the deceased, probably never met.

Brit backpacker Theo Bailey, believed to be in his 30s, was sadly found lifeless in a shallow water drainage ditch the following day outside the Roctapus diving centre on Koh Tao Island

A British backpacker has been found dead in a drain whilst on vacation in Thailand.

Theo Bailey, believed to be 31, went missing while on a pub crawl with his long-term girlfriend, Chantal Xerri. It is believed the pair got drunk with other holidaymakers on the island of Koh Tao on March 18 before he vanished. He was sadly found lifeless in a shallow water drainage ditch the following day outside the Roctapus diving centre. Police believe he had been in the drain for several hours before he was located. His phone is said to have also been missing.

    They told us FOUR times.

People pay to bring extra cabin baggage on board.

I have never seen that option when buying a ticket. But its not those who HAVE paid, its those who bring boxes of Creamy donuts, Duty Free booze and such like on top of their 7kg bag.

In my experience, very few passengers access their cabin luggage during the flight, so why have the hassle. Unless it's the only luggage you have, check it in the hold, you'll have to wait for your main bag anyway.

I don't push past anyone. I stand up, and walk as far forward as is polite... which is easier without having to get and drag a carry-on bag.

What makes you think I push past people?

In my eyes, someone walking as far forward as possible in an aisle just about big enough for one, let alone two passing, is called pushing past.

    Tell her. Not me.

At 50 without income letter you have option for funds in bank method.

I was eligible for income stream at 55.

    However did not require that.

The OP is on about 65k per month method.

Of course we all know that you can put 800k in the bank at 50 and get Retirement Extension.

And I did say that, as you were, one is eligible for a Private Pension stream at 55 if you have a qualifying policy, in UK anyway.

Think you will find it depends on the immigration office.

Some may accept the 65k+ per month from overseas.

Some will require some proof that it comes from some type of pension/income stream.

And some, like Phitsanulok, with accept the Combination Method, where as long as the regular monthly foreign transfers plus money in the bank add up to more than Bht 800k, you are good to go.

I have Bht 420k in the bank and send Bht 40k per month = total Bht 900k.

It will cost about 1k per person that attends IME and that was with food, my wife organized for my mate that died 20k covered the whole thing,  it its not the cremation that is the cost, its getting the body returned from the Police Forensics but that only cost 43k and that was to Koh Chang including the coffin. The cremation ceremony  itself if done at a Buddhist temple is a 3 day affair, 1st day chanting, second day cremation, next day when the ashes have cooled down your bones are smashed up. It all seems pretty mandatory. From what I have heard just a cremation costs just 5K.

You could contact the company below and get one of their forms, its all the paperwork, embassy, death cert that is a pain if you do it yourself, let them do all the leg work your death will also have to be registered at your local Amphur before they release the body, this company were very professional. Where it says other just put the name of the Temple you want. Edit this was one recommended to me by the OZ embassy.

The danger is when it becomes fully automated. Right now the RD is not set up to deal with foreigners and are reluctant to do so.

My Taxman welcomed me with excellent English, looked at the return he did for me last year, Bht 40,000 per month, and said 'No change then no tax due' Thank you.

In nut shell...  yeah cooking oil.

Not that I would entertain the use of palm oil for cooking purposes.

"In Thailand, biodiesel is mostly produced from crude palm oil (CPO), although Thai manufacturers also use refined bleached and deodorized palm oil (RBDPO), palm stearin and other vegetable oils"

There is however, up to 80% of fossil fuel diesel in it

    Try cooking chips in that!

I always speed up and cut through traffic on Beach Rd near the cop shop when I seem them standing there ready to pull over motorbikes. Never once have they been able to see and stop me because I'm driving too fast, would become too dangerous for them to try and run into the middle of the road. Because I don't want to waste my time and theirs. I've got my Thai licence and helmet on all the time so they wouldn't be able to fine me for anything anyway.

    Speeding and dangerous driving?
