Here in Thailand they mix up the two systems, where you buy 2 metres of 3x2 inch timber.

And you obviously did not realise that he was talking about Thai restaurants here in Thailand, where the majority of them make the mistakes, or do not know or care, about how a meal should be served, to satisfy a non-Thai person, who doesn't give a <deleted> about in which order the food comes. In the case which I posted about, it wasn't sending the food back to the kitchen, it was getting the <deleted> stuff on the table!

Totally agree, but when I do complain, I get the bad eye from the Mrs. Quite often the rice comes first, 10 minutes later the main courses, and then the starters. Ah well TIT.

In a restaurant last Wednesday. Me....beef on spicy spaghetti, step daughter....noodles with pork, grandson.......fried rice. Mrs.....pork chop with rice & salad. Mine came first, then the noodle, then the rice, then 20 minutes later, the Mrs chop. When I asked why, they explained that the chop was frozen and had to be defrosted. Quite correct, but guess where we shall not go again.
