  1. Quite right James, you've got a friend here.
  2. Just opened my first, it's 5pm somewhere, and it's quite good. Bht 50 for 630 ml @ 4.5% is OK by me. Cheers.
  3. It used to be £50k, but has probably gone up to £100k, which is worth about the same these days. As for getting on a plane, if it was a biggy, they would possibly ask to see your passport, utility bills etc etc. But if you say you are living with various different family members...........who knows until that big one comes along.
  4. I asked Bingle and got this back from Nat Lott. Bing If you are abroad and win the National Lottery, you will be able to claim your prize as long as you haven't made any changes to your direct debit details while you were out of the country . However, it is important to note that you must be physically located in the UK or Isle of Man when using your account, including when setting up or amending a Direct Debit. So, if you set up a Direct Debit in the UK before going abroad and haven't made any changes to it while you were away, you should be able to claim your prize. Good luck! ????
  5. Follow up. I took these photos to the PEA Lekky board, who sent a couple of 'technicians' within the hour. They took similar photos, agreed that the pole was tilted, and will send some 'engineers' to fix it. We''' see. My Mrs said 'No, they will not send anyone', but they did.
  6. Got more replies to this simple OP than the one about Pies & Pizzsa. ha ha ha. I shall try to think another one up ready for next week.
  7. And it must be the same for you Mister DingDong. I do have a very absorbing hobby or writing and recording music on my PC, playing my guitar, bass & piano. I also am into cooking, baking and winery. Need any more. When I have time I go on here and see posts from tossers like you.
  8. Mature adults here! Ha ha ha.
  9. When you do a transfer in Thailand and put in an account number, the name of that account holder shows and it asks if you are sure to do the transfer.
  10. So they WILL send it to an account who's name is not the same as the sender wanted. I think/hope not. Nationwide will not send in the first place.
  11. I have read that they will not send the money and return it to the sender (Cue for an Elvis song!) That's the same with UK banks now.
  12. I shall give them a bell and ask. Thanks for the post.
  13. It did enter my mind. But hey, everything cannot be perfect. 555
  14. Bye, ignore list.
  15. You just did not get the meaning of my OP.It was saying that the beer company was cheating folk by only giving 600ml instead of 620. And then you did not read MY post this morning where I apologised profusely for the fault being my measuring jug. You just get on with your Sangsom and leave the subject along please.
  16. Does using a VPN not get round the problem. Log in from Venezuela or Ethiopia.
  17. The pole was only put up yesterday so the ground will still be soft. Off to PEA Office later with these pictures. Let's see.
  18. True. Happened to me when my son came over and registered himself on Asean Now using my PC. One of the Mods banned it because it showed the same IP address and Chrome identifier. It got sorted out by the Mod. Thanks.
  19. Only 10? Bigguns or little? 555
  20. ME? DRUNK? Never.
  21. Just had new concrete poles and cables run to my home, one pole directly outside. Two years before it falls over?
