  1. You cannot get a UK Credit Card without a verified UK address. Once you have the Card, you CAN use it almost anywhere, but most of them charge a fee and use a lousy exchange rate.
  2. Facial recognition would not work on him, as it also doesn't on most of the local women.
  3. I wonder what their Passport photos are like. I am surprised they ever got one.
  4. WISE? Credit Card? Don't be silly. You can only spend what you have in the various accounts ie DEBIT Card.
  5. Yes you are correct. BA stop between May & October. Only go to LGW.
  6. My mention of Travel Agency was in reply to the OPs question. Of course you should use multipe travel sites to find times and fares, but in my experience, it seems cheaper, and safer, to go directly to the airline once you have found what you want. Let's face it, all sites SHOULD give the same schedules, and seats available. If you do get into any difficulties, the Travel Sites do not have anyone at the airport to help, the Airlines do!
  7. You can get this information from any of the aforementioned search sites, or AI if you trust them. Once you have the information, times and prices etc, go to the Airline directly to book. Safest way.
  8. Quoted from scam-detector.com Is flightfrom.com legit? Its medium-low trust score caused us to flag this site as questionable. 9. Thank you for the compliment.
  10. All of them? I doubt it.
  11. As has Google Flights, and Expedia, Trip.com, etc etc. Most of the AI sites will put you in the right direction, but don't trust them, all of them could be wrong! Haha
  12. Gemini, Google's AI portal, agrees with the other two, as do Perplexity and Leo. Don't make a bigger fool of yourself by saying that they do fly to UK.
  13. I don't know which AI you are using, but Chat & Co-Pilot both confirm my knowledge that Air Asia, NOK Air and Vietjet DO NOT fly to UK.
  14. What absolute rubbish. None of AirAsia, NOK Air or Vietjet go to UK, Thai International, BA and Eva go direct to London, the others, as you say, stop off half way.
  15. Not with British Passports. You get the new one, go to Immigration and they do it from their past computer records. FREE OF CHARGE. So it doesn't matter if your old Passport is not available or damaged. Been there & done it last month.
  16. Yes, it should work.
  17. What's a Travel Agency these days. Do it online directly with the airline.
  18. All made very good sense, until the final statement.
  19. Ooh luv, let's go to Thighland for us hollies, they have real dinosaurs there! 555
  20. And WISE of course! 555
  21. Two months ago, my Mrs & I opened a Joint account at Bkk Bank, and when I tried WISE, the dosh was returned saying Incorrect Bank Data, because I had simply left MY name as the recipient. I now send it to my original single account, and transfer to Joint as soon as it arrives. Some may ask why have a Joint account. So that when I pop my clogs, she can legally withdraw from it without waiting for probate.
  22. New word for me...DICASTERY. Looked it up, it is not in the Oxford English Dictionary or Thesaurus. But Mr Chat put me right.
