Nitpicking... low frequencies also travel through concrete etc. "Soundproof" glass is used in every recording studio, usually 2 layers of different thickness. With absorption class 6 u get 50db+ absorption depending on frequencies. They do... also in Phuket. And yes thais help too, but it's mostly outside thais/tourists/or those who moved there, while those who earn money at the beach don't care. Good general info on usufructs If land office refuses u might have luck with superficies instead or as already mentioned a lease, otherwise taking a lawyer to a land office often changes their tune (personal experience).
