I've found exactly the opposite ...... no effect when I vape it.

So I just smoke it American style (no tobacco), I used to smoke it Euro style (50/50 tobacco/MJ).

You may not have tried recently with a good quality vape, or a volcano. I suggest you give it another try, vaping extracts much more THC than smoking, there s science behind it, I can t see why you would have no effect. Effects are stronger but a bit different and with less weed.

I have now bought a Flowermate Aura Dry Herb Vaporizer just waiting for delivery. I also bought Strawberry Kush and Charlotte's Mix to try and get some good Sleep and pain relief.  So thank you for your post.

Very good. I myself own a mighty vaporizer, I love it. It costs some money when you buy it but saves a ton on the long run. Effect are stronger when you vape dry herb with less herb, take it slow, and wait for 10 mns before take another puff, the high arrives slower than when smoked but is stronger and more clean.

Let us know what you think of your purchase. If you want to sleep, go to the higher temperatures 200-220 degres C, and when buying weed go for the heavy indicas. Always have a bottle of water when you vape, iced water feels good after a puff. No need to take big hits, inspire slowly and enjoy.

I am in Samui now. I did not see a single cannabis dispensary. The place I used to buy it before the 9th june still sells, but it is expensive and busy and quality very low at the moment. Staff there told me it is still illegal in Samui and nothing changed at all, brown envelopes as per usual. Police are enforcing the 0.2% rule for buds they tell me. Now using someone I found on Line app and very happy with his service. Am I missing something?

There is a dispensary in Samui, in Samthong resort, not sure they are open yet as they delated their opening yesterday, you should go have a look and report back. Not sure I can put the link, look for black spiky on facebook.

My history is that I smoked pot from the age of 17 as a experiment when I lived in London to stop me drinking too much beer as I had a beer belly.  It worked my body weight was now down to a normal level.  I never stopped until my late 20 and really enjoyed the experience as I grew up to be a better person as my mind was opened to all the good music that was around in those days.   I got to meet very nice people from all walks of life when I went to a lot of live concerts., London was a very good place to grow up as a 17 year old green scottish lad.

My education on life also improved with me reading more and taking a interest in many subjects.

The reason I stopped was I found it hard to get to work every day due to laziness so at first I stopped during work days and only did it at weekends. Then i just gradually stopped altogether it was not a problem as I had moved back to Scotland with a new Job and I wanted to travel.   I have been living in Thailand now for over 20 years there was one day up in Chiang Mai that I was given a try of a joint but I had stopped smoking everything for many years by this time and i coughed and It hurt my throat so I did not do it again.

I have a lot of health problems now at 66 years old with neck and back pain with joint pain along with insomnia so I will be looking to get back to trying cannabis again when the price comes down with a Bong if I can find one to buy to help me sleep and get pain relief as this will not hurt my throat so much or make me cough.

So good for Thailand to let this happen I can't wait.

You should not use a bong, you should use an herb vaporizer, you will enjoy it a lot more. You can check on google and youtube, lot of informations available.

The police let users out(formerly known as abusers),just maybe they get their stuff back but i highly doubt dealers have been released and they would certainly not get theirs back.

It seems trhat they are getting their weed back and their money back, it s incredible, I love Thailand!

I would appreciate any links that people have to articles that give them the idea ganja or "cannabis" will be completely  legalized. They are going to release prisoners on cannabis charges, ok, that doesn't mean they will stop arresting and imprisoning more people on cannabis charges. They release all kinds of criminals from Thai prisons from time to time, it doesn't mean there are no longer criminal charges for whatever crime. Then June 9th there is something else which tey seem to be trying to get people to conflate, that is, hemp will be legalized, not cannabis as the Thai government is confusingly calling it. If psychoactive Cannabis sativa/indica/ruderalis is still illegal, cannabis is not legal, however hemp would be.

Seems clear to me as well from what I've read over the last 9 months or so, you need to get approved "cannabis" seeds from the government if you are going to grow it, and that its a strain which produces almost no THC, ie its hemp not cannabis.  Fine distinctions and clarity are a nuisance to many in Thai society, including the government. So of course they want to come out all magnanimous sounding and try and gain face for themselves by just being glib and loose with the truth and say, "Yeah, cannabis is legal on June 9." And scrutize that any further and your just some kind of smart ass trouble maker.  So yeah, good, hallelujah, they are going to stop being insane about banning hemp which they shouldn't, it could obviously be a new source of income for many as a source of fibre, oils, food and whatever else hemp has been used for, it was once and can be a valuable crop apart from its pharmaceutical attributes.

As the article says in rathe semi-nonsensical English:

"The production, import, export, distribution, consumption and possession of cannabis — with the exception of psychoactive substances — will be formally legalized on June 9 when an announcement issued by the Ministry of Public Health and published in the Royal Gazette on February 9 takes effect." I take this to mean that "cannabis" which is pyschoactive will continue to be illegal. I would go out on a limb here and guess using the word "cannabis" is deliberate, it confuses the issue between pyschoactive and non-psychoactive which they would like to exploit going forward. Politicians and tourist boards would like to proclaim that they have legalized cannabis when they have done no such thing. The distinction could be made clear in English by using the word hemp for non-psychoactive varieties of the plant used for rope, food, fiber, oils etc and "cannabis" for psychoactive varieties. But no doubt that want to use the language their way and say Cannbis the psychoactive substance and cannabis the non-psychoactive substance and of course non-psychoactive and psychoactive just gets swept under the carpet and cannbis is use to mean both. Nice and unclear, vague and confusing like the Thai government always likes it, so they look down their noses and chuckle, "Oh you are so confused! Hehehe! OK, only 1 year in the hoosegow because you are so confused."

Also, as far as I understand it, THC is not the only psychoactive component of cannabis. Isn't it that CBD is supposed to help with reducing anxiety levels? Of course we can't expect these people to be bothered with any of these distinctions, its so unbecoming to get into details, they don't play that here.

For the linhk, I can not post this here but you can for exemple go on c.c.n.t bangkok, they just published an article about that.

You don t need approved seeds from the government, people can grow whatever they like and how many they like, high in THC or not, that is a fact. I don t know where you got that from.

What seems pretty clear for you is not correct, people can smoke weed in their home just not in public at the moment, and you can get just a warning first, no fine.

I can see again someone who spends more time trying to bash the government than understanding what is really happening.

  7. Hello,

Do you know the location of any vaccination center that offer free vaccination. I m in Sathorn. I saw there was a center in Bang Sue station before, is it still open. Is there anything closer to Sathorn.

    Thanks for your help!

Where will you be able to buy buds?

Where will you be able to smoke?

And where will you be able to get a medical card?

    That was BJT campaign propaganda.

    bjtcann.jpg

I read it on different articles, for exemple on khaosad english on 9th of february. not sure if I can put a link:

The delisting will take effect 120 days after its publication in the government gazette. In the period ahead of it becoming effective, the ministry will seek to have a bill on cannabis approved by Parliament to clarify several legal points.

The proposed Cannabis Act would allow only patients whose diseases can be eased with marijuana, such as cancer and depression, to grow the plants at home, said Tonnam Niyamapar, a member of The Alliance of Citizens’ Cannabis Association, a lobbying group.

He said that the act would also allow people to smoke marijuana for medicinal purposes. Flowers of the plant had been on the list of controlled drugs, so until now cannabis oil had been permitted only for treatments.

I think you're jumping to a conclusion based on your interpretation of the word extract, which in the west refers to the various products not limited to hash, budder, sift, crumble, kief, rosin, shatter...

My read, and I think it hinges on the thai word from which "extracts" is translated, is that "extracts" in this proclamation means anything from the plant, in its native form. This would include flowers/nugs/buds, seeds, stems, leaves, roots. Or anything that is subsequently derived from the plant.

Below 0.2 % THC pass Go and collect 200 baht.

Greater than 0.2 % THC, Go to Jail, do not pass Go.

Unclear how CBD figures into this, but there are very few none? high CBD strains with THC at/below 0.2 %. There are few that come in at the 0.7 - 1.0% range" ACDC, Charlotte's Web (this one is cultivated here in the pilot/uni grows).

Based on my and only my understanding:

At the beginning of it all, Anutin said he would follow the " California model ", several years ago if I remember clearly.

From the 8th of june I believe, on the medical side, you will be able to buy buds and smoke it. For that you will need a medical certificate or document from a doctor, same as the one you can get now for a very large number of conditions like " pain " or " headache " or similar conditions. At that moment, it will be legal in thai style ????

I think they are making it legal without making it legal so they can stay on the good side of the treaties they signed untill Germany, the US and some other big western countries legalize themself and they can get rid of the treaties or just don t care.

My 2 cts only. I may be wrong.

Can you share any detail, background, history, publications, thai FB pages, which support your declaration?

And what does "shortly" mean? Days, weeks, months? Years? Decades?

And if THC is not currently legal, how will it be made "legal"?

Will the Psychotropics Act be changed to remove THC?

Will it be legal for individuals to grow? Any strains? Can seeds be sourced from outside thailand? Indoor/outdoor? Any limits?

Can they sell their production to others? Will they collect VAT? Who can they sell to?

Will you be able to smoke in public? Any restrictions?

I guess there is a pro-Cannabis march/protest/event today and tomorrow, in/around government house.

There is an article on BP that says Thai FDA is drafting a bill that will be reviewed next month, no cannabis cafe  but for the first time they say that it will be regulated and talk about recreational weed. Interested times are coming ???? They call it limited recreational use. I ll be shocked if they only open CBD shops.

Thanks for your support and kindness. Very lame. Nearly every time I see someone complaining, or observing a shortfall within Thailand, some guy, who has not taken the time to think things through, nor to devote any focus or effort to a reasonable reply, says something like "Perhaps Thailand is not for you", or maybe you should leave, or the top prize, "if you do not like it here, go back to your own country". Hard to even respond to such inane statements. Why? Because I have some issues with the place? Sorry to inform you, but the nature of a discerning mind, is to have issues. Though absolute contentment must be a beautiful state of mind, it is not something most of us are blessed with, in case you have not noticed. The fact that I complain, does not mean I do not love Thailand, nor most of it's people. I do.

I love my life here. I have a very good life here. But, I do have some complaints, and there are some things I would love to see improved. I should leave because of that? Please. Next time you make a post, try to devote at least two moments of thought to it.

    Hey,

You should read your comment again, you explain in 10 points why everyone should leave Thailand and how bad everything is in this country, it s your own words. it s not complaining it s Thailand bashing. I love my life here and I certainly don t agree with most of your tirade, which if they were true would for sure make me think about leaving this terrible country.

    Have a good afternoon!
