maybe you go look at chart you post, ok?  Ease of access and lack of social checks is a determining factor. If adolescents can easily get yaba and there is no more social taboo, we will see very bad outcome.

 

Look at tobacco. Now that it is more difficult to access in some countries and it is socially unacceptable to blow smoke and smell of  ashtray, the cost to society of tobacco has steadily decreased over time as fewer people per capita start the vile habit. What we see now ios damage to smokers who started 20+ years ago.

No, alcohol makes the most damage because it is simply more dangerous than other drugs. If it s made illegal, guess what, it will be more harmfull.

No one says we should give adolescents easy access to Yaba.  Control the drugs market also means control access to drugs that are safer, it doesn t mean selling it in schools, which is what happen now by the way. When you have control on the market, you can make rules. Please understand that people who advocate for a better treatment of the drug problem have the same objective as you, reduce the damages made by drug to society, not to give your kids drug. 

Tobacco consuption has decreased because we eductae people on how harmfull it is today, and we try to explain why we should not use cigarettes, we don t just simply ban it.

I checked your link, and it says she was accused of anti semitism by the right wing for criticizing Israel s policies and influence on american s politics. She took a stance against Israel, but not an anti semitic s stance im my opinion, everyone should be able to freely criticizeisrael for what they view as wrong, and not being labeled anti semitic.

Let s say it this way, the chinese government is dishonnest and no one trust the number coming from them, but it is obvious that their way of treating the virus has been by far better than the way it has been treated in the west especially in the US. China is almost covid free today and people go on with their life, economy is back on, not only the stock market, that s very different from what we see in Europe and in the US. You can criticize China without becoming blind to facts.

I lived in China 15 years, now I m in Bangkok and know some chinese living here including my wife, her parents and many friends of them on retirement, elite visa and non -B. It s not because you don t know them or don t talk to them that they are not here, same as western people.

While I can understand people cricizing chinese government or chinese tourists on a tour, I don t understand why so many people here are so much anti chinese. Most if the one I know are well educated and never bother anyone here.
