Despite the early promotion of e cigs as a less harmful alternative, the growing body of evidence, shows that "vaping" comes with its own  serious health risks.

The issue here is not so much the sale of vaping products , but the fact that the products sold are filled with unknown toxic substances. The  liquids are not subject to  manufacturing quality control, nor  standards of any kind. Many of the vape products found in Thailand are home made or sourced from China. hardly a supply chain that inspires confidence.

    Hi,

Please show us some links to the growing body of evidences.

Products are a lot less safe when there is no regulations. The phone or computer that you type on are also made in China, as well as most manufactured items you buy and use daily, and they are safe because of regulations. There s no good reason not to allow a healthier alternative to smoking.

there is no IVF in china ?

infertility ... nobody interested how come it became a problem ?

mostly insulin resistance -> PCOS for women -> ...  naaaahhhhhh

in my home country, it is FREE for lesbian & other couples, tax payer sponsored... no need to check for overweight, diabetes, etc...

IVF in China cost 3 times the price as in Thailand.

Headline should read 'because of COVID'

The Chinese will do almost anything to escape China at the moment.

There are lots of Chinese in Chiang Mai desperate not to have to go back.

I m curious as why you think people would like to escape China at the moment. China is pretty safe, same as Thailand. And as I know lot of chinese people living outside of China, it s the opposite, they can not wait to go back especially the ones in the US now.

This. China is far more racist than Thailand will ever be despite all the rhetoric we read here about Thailand being the most racist country on Earth.

I remember an elderly Chinese couple looking disapprovingly at me holding the hand of my ethnic Chinese-Thai girlfriend (now wife) walking down an escalator in Kunming. They also made a derogatory comment as they passed us. Earlier, I had a short-term fling with a Chinese girl. Walking down the street in Yuxi, south of Kunming, a teenager called her a whore. Walking alongside us was her friend and another Sri Lankan friend.

In Thailand, nothing like that has ever happened, not even close. There are so many Thais in relationships with foreigners it's something people see everyday.

And I know, because I'm fluent in Thai and reasonably good at Chinese.

This is also not true, and make a generalization of one or two incidents that happened to you with 1,4 billion people is not correct. I m fluent in chinese and I didn t see more racist in China than other countries. No one never treated me or my wife that way ever. People are just curious because there are not many foreigners in China small cities.

This is bang on. Far less common to a Chinese girl marry a Westerner than it is for Thais.

They believe in their racial purity and racial superiority. It has been drummed into them from centuries and centuries of propaganda.

I have ived in China 15 years, my wife is chinese and I can say witout a doubt that what you said is total BS.

How can I find the website of The Thai Consulate where I can

see what documents that I need for a Non-B visa?

Do you need a medical certificate for it, though I know you'll

    need one for a WP?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I was there 3 months ago, here are the documents needed at that time:

    non-B single entry:

    - passport

    - invitation letter

    - employment contract

    - WP3 original or work permit with 3 months remaining ( I had 3 days remaining and it worked for me )

    - DBD letter copy

    - application for 90 days

    - 1900 baths

    non - B multiple entries

    - passport

    - work permit with 8 month remaining minimum

    - invitation letter

    - employment contract

    - invitation letter

    - You must be director of the company

    - DBD letter copy

    - application for 1 year

    - I don t have the cost for this application

I suggest you contact Jim s place, he can give you the updated list of document and his service is not expensive ( and worth the cost ) as you get a taxi round trip to the consulate included, he will check all your documents and let you know if there is a problem, fill the forms etc... He will let you know if you have a problem and tell you how to fix it.

Actually even in Chiang Watanna it appears most late reporters are not being fined.  But no clear criteria has been obvious.  If fined it will be a little longer process as have to pay that at the 90 day report area and a two step process.

I made my TM30 yesterday at CW and got fined 800 baths, and it seems everyone late was fined.

  8. Hi,

I plan to come in the near future to Bangkok to open a company. I live in China for 10+ years and my wife is chinese.

    I have a few questions:

I will apply for a non immigrant B visa to come to open my company with the help of an agent, then get the work permit in Bangkok.

I would like of course that my wife comes with me during this process.

    - I do not have a company yet, how can she apply for a non immigrant O visa for spouse. Also they require on the thai embassy website for this kind of visa a flight ticket with return to China, but we want to stay in Thailand, do we have to buy a roundtript ticket even if we do not plan to come back?

    - Does she need to come with a tourist visa ( 60 days ) then can she change it to a non immigrant O visa to stay with me once she s there?

The visa system looks very complicated here and it s hard to find someone with similar situation on the forum.

    Thanks for your replies.
