i would say 100 posts. Many forums use this formula quite successfully. Even this site uses it for the lounge for whatever reason as that place is pretty boring. Most forums and social media sites use it in more controversial corners. It orevents trolls, sock puppets and bots.

Basic question. There are trolls that come and post only here that obviously make accounts just to stir the pot. The lounge has a minimum post requirement why not here?

It's simply a terrible idea. People that get tips are not even close to the lowest earners out there. I think a policy that exempts b anybody making less than $15 an hour from federal taxes would be better. No more hiking the minimum wage just let low level earners keep their money. The cocktail waitress at the titty bar and blackjack dealers need to pay.
