  1. I love dogs, but they are by genetics a pack animal. I live up by the lake when in town and have been faced with very vicious dogs on many occasions. I certainly would not advocate slaughter, but the collection and castration of the boys has to be the way forward.

  2. Thank you very much for Mancienne ( again ).

    Quite made my daysmile.gif

Do you rate him then? the times I've seen him play I haven't been that impressed, strange though you weren't prepared to pay £4m for him though!

Gamble. He has the potential to be a very good player, although he doesn't seem to know where he fits in yet. He is not steady enough for a CH, where you guys saw his future. Time will tell.

The majority of Wolves fans rated him as a punt around 3 Million, however Mick only has that left in the pot and we are short in other positions, so thanks for the loan !!

  3. The best Hospital threads have been done and dusted a number of times. One thing for sure the International variety cost dosh.

As a fair skinned expat, after living in the East for approaching thirty years I regularly have to have the odd patch of skin sliced off to keep well and healthy.

I am sure I am not the only one so simple question. Anyone know of a reasonably priced dermatologist in town, none hospital attached to keep the costs down to the mere rip-off ?

  4. I too, have a house in the areal. The trouble is a lot of the property around there is large. Large houses and Expats, equals money to a yabba head or rent hunting moron. A car a must at night time, I think this is a very rare occurance during the day and hopefully a one off.

  5. guess the response in poll is slow as it covers live-in maids only. I for one have a maid coming all weekdays, but would hate the idea of having her living with us.

if you don't mind mate, how much does that cost ?

We pay 6,000, she does the house in the morning and the office in the afternoon.

    TX mate

  6. I see Man United have put 4,000 season tickets on open sale. I always thought there was a huge waiting list. If this is the case, I know many who only kept theirs for fear of never getting one back again and will probably now let them go.

Good grief. If this keeps up people from Manchester will actually get a chance to go and watch them

  7. According to the Beeb, the French have suspended all 23 first squad players for their " friendly " against Iceland.

    Fair play I say.

It's about time some of the worlds ( not just the French ) Prima Donna's were brought back down to earth.

  8. Same as above. "Malibar" also good with decent decor ( ish ).

Is Malibar open again? it was shut and abandoned the last time i passed a couple of weeks ago?

Hazelandhoward are you looking for a place that looks posh or a place that has good seafood, Preecha in Ban Amphur has the best seafood around but it is nothing more than a large shed on the seafront!

    Bugger !!!!

I hope not. Must admit, having knee reconstructed has kept me at home for months, dam_n good restaurant in it's day............................. Sorry if I mislead OP and it's gone the way of a lot of good things recently.

  9. Love? I love the memories of when it was a great (fun, relaxed, inexpensive, uncrowded, no worries/pressure) place; memories from the 80s and 90s.

    Now? Nothing. Sorry.

This one of the reasons to love the place. I too thought the 80's downtown was great. Like you, not so keen now, so move East to the lake, still have access to everything you may need in town and chill again !!!
