  1. Too many old has beens, living on past reputations for the English. Too many bloody fit, technically gifted young men for you lot................................

And a goal being disallowed when England were well on top, Germans on an individual basis certainly arent better technically then the England players thats just cliched cr4p youve taken from the press.

From what you've written you didn't see the same game I saw.

  2. I think if Suarez is considered a cheat then it applies to practically every player in the World Cup. Given the circumstances I think every player would have done the same.

Had Ghana scored from the penalty I feel this would have been a non issue.

Exactly salty..................The majority of them are.

  3. I do not think FIFA should say anything as the player ( Luis Suarez ) already got his punishment.

He did not cheat but he commited an infraction. The player is paying for his infraction as he was sent out during the match and moreover he will miss the next 1 or 2 matches. That's enough

Maradona did cheat when he scored the MANO DE DIOS goal in 1986 as the referee did not see it and he got no punishment.

Sorry mate can't agree. If the hand was " Instinctive", yes an Infringement which he has been punished. But the deliberate hand of God and the crowing, is more than that and goes to the heart of the game and the moral standing that the game wishes to take and set up as an example to follow for the worlds youth. The WC is watched by starry eyed kids the world over, who now think when they go out to play a game with their mates , anything goes as long as they win...............Sad and sorry world if that is the message we accept from " The World Game ".

I agree with you that it is not the moral standing that the game wishes to take but do you really think that a player after having played for 120 mins does really care about giving an example to the world youth??? He is thinking about giving his team ( country ) a last oportunity to win the match as that his job.

Will we be talking about this infraction, if the save was in the first half and not in the last minute of the match???

Mate if this player is given an appropriate sanction now, in the future, yes a player may just think before he does similar again.

  5. It's not the first and won't be the last time that a field player handles the ball on the goal line.

Nobody would talk about it if Ghana would have converted the penalty.

But most would have walked away with an ironic smile maybe, not crowing in the press claiming divinity and rubbing the noses in the %^*^ of a team who played with notable dignity.

  6. Now many have claimed the hand that denied Ghana a place in the semis was instinctive.

But now the cheating $%^^%^&& who did it, is claiming he has the " Hand of God " and practises in goal during training and has pulled off the best save in the competition.

This is a disgrace. FIFA must sanction this man or forever keep quiet on any further " moral " issue.

  7. CONGRATULATIONS GERMANY

    4-0 to Argentina.

Absolutely superior to the Argentinian team who never came into their game.

I'm very curious if Spain will be able to beat this German team; they play soooo easy, correct and with an unbelievable defense system also.

    I'm smelling a SUSPENSE FINAL.......Holland - Germany

This also shows something else but very important to world football:

If Spain wins tonight over Paraguay of which I have little doubt, the WORLD CUP will have 3 European Continent countries with the last 4 and just one -small- South American country - Uruguay, having to play against Holland without their best player in the team, Luis SUAREZ who got a RED CARD :redcard2:, last night for stopping the ball with his hands and thus, indirectly, throwing Ghana out. A pure drama for the entire African continent. :(

3 European countries with the last 4....Holland - Germany - Spain

1 South American team : Uruguay

    What does that mean ?

    Comments?

    LaoPo

It means you're jumping the gun mate. No doubt you will be correc,t but this WC has shown so many twists and turns Paraguay winning is not beyond the realms.

  8. When the Cholanda Coffee House closed down it was a sad day indeed. The lovely family that ran it, said they were off to BK for the husband's work and the wife may open another Coffee Shop in the city. Anyone know if this happened? If it did, where the new place may be ?

  9. Worth remembering that a lot of the desperate people seen around town are Loa or Burmese. A lot of the negative views of some of the results of this desperation are laid at the door of our Thai friends wrongly.

  10. Its all we can expect in a city of prostitutes/pimps and their offspring serving in a lot of cases all the scum/ criminals that descend on the place, for the decent amongst us im afraid we have to put up with all the sh!t that goes with it or move on,.:)

Quite right. The quicker the better................................

  11. Try getting off the beaten path if you want to see normal Thai people. Pattaya is the armpit of the universe, Thai people are there only to make money, anyway possible. I was very disillusioned with the place on my last visit.

And whatever you do, don't rent a jet-ski under any circumstances! These jet-ski operators are the scum of the earth and it is unbelievable that they are still allowed. Pass it along......

Absolutely agree, Pattaya is in Thailand but not at all representative.

First thing I advise newbie friends is to come here for a few days to empty their sacks, then bugger off with or without lady to see Thailand.

This is correct, in the same way Blackpool in England or Vegas in the US are not the same as the rest of the country. However, all three are tourist destinations which is one of the big reasons people from overseas come to a different country. It does sort of make me laugh when every tourist to Thailand is purported to be a culture vulture or an expert in Asian architecture or the Buddhist religion. They are not. Pattaya City is what it is, a fun place for tourists, and tourists are what the " Desperate Thai's " want, as tourists in the sense which they should be classified i.e. people out for a good time, spend money.

  12. OK guys take it easy we got beat,or do you wanna call this the (ball was in thread) NO NO NO it is what it is,we were outplayed by a long way, good luck Deutchland, you were better,so be it,

    Well said

In all honesty Germany were much better and good luck to them, but the scoreline was harsh as not much went England's way.

I mean that disallowed goal was surely the worst decision ever in world cup history.

I hope the management stays. I hope that it's seen as best that the defence to a man don't ever play again, and sadly, time to say goodbye to Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney too. Good club men. Had numerous opportunities now.

Sad part about this is I agree, but in the short term who's on line to step up ?

The manager needs to go as he will stick with the same players when a complete change of thinking is required.
