Thailand is acting like they can keep the Omigron out of the country. Nothing they can do about it and personally very tired of all this difficulties to enter to thailand
Agree. Within a couple of weeks it will be every where in Thailand. But that might be a good thing if symptoms are as mild as being reported. If not, then things will turn shi$&y very very quickly.

Get a beer before you go through immigration!! None the other side.
Go to the far right on departures, to the convenience store there. I sat around there. Completely empty.
That's only place I could find!!
Nothing open on the air side at all. Just the usual hi-so Rolex shops etc. Certainly no beers.

I was in the UK earlier this month.
You need to check very carefully the rules for the country you are entering.
And the rules for your airline.
For basics, for flying to the UK with Qatar, I needed:
Vaccine passport from Thai authorities
Qatar airline Covid form
PCR test 72 hours before flight
UK location form + and booking post-flight Covid test (rapid)
And then it's another load of hoops (even more hoops!) coming back. Thailand Pass!!!!

I came back to Thailand on Monday using Thailand Pass.
They do accept test result using mobile phone.
But it slows up the whole process. People were waiting in the back of the line holding their phones up showing the results, while the people with printouts (including me) just walked through because the immigration staff had already given the all clear.
That's all. You can use your phone - but it is very slow.

I must be on the wrong side of luck...no QR code after I applied six days ago...no email from the @support and of course...still no QR code following my email of enquiry
Apply for AQ. I did this morning and got the QR for AQ immediately. Then a short while after received Test and Go QR too.

Success! Finally received Test and Go approval QR code. I am so relieved!
This morning (8 Nov) I applied for AQ approval after many unsuccessful attempts at Test and Go (since 1 Nov).
AQ approval and QR code arrived in my email almost straight away. Less than three minutes.
Then, just 10 mins after QA approval QR code I received the Test and Go QR code.
So now have two QR codes (I fly on 13 Nov).
So I would say to anyone worried about applying for AQ, go ahead and do it!
Looks like it kicks the process of getting Test and Go approval too!
Cheers.

So, if your test and go QR does not show up, are you suggesting to apply on AQ with a 1 day booking. Then use a refundable 7 day quarantine package to show at check-in and switch back to the 1 day booking when you arrive in Thailand?
Think this is the idea, yes.
If you can evidence vaccine x 2 (and can evidence all other test-and-go requirements) then why would they not allow 1-day test and go on arrival? Makes no sense.

So I have just applied for AQ through the Thailand Pass system.
I made three approval requests for Test and Go from 1 November. But no QR code.
However, through the AQ route I received QR code immediately. This has got to be some glitch in the system.
Anyway, now I am worried that my full docs won't be accepted.
Are there reports of people getting through the system with the AQ?
Would appreciate any thoughts. Cheers

home isolation
in COVID-19 Coronavirus
So if a foreigner (or a Thai for that matter) tests positive for Covid are they allowed to home isolate until they test negative (after presumably around 10 days)?
What's the latest?
