For info. I have a DWP through BOI company from Chamchuri Sq.
Tried to do 90-day report online last week. Was rejected.
Called IMM. They said BOI 90-day requests have to be done from Chamshuri Sq.
Why do they make it so difficult for DWP holders and investors?
Hardly user friendly.

I know people who work on these construction sites - a few of my wife's family are electricians. They are reporting that people generally come and go as they please through back gates and holes in fences etc. They are also allowed out to go get food! What a joke.

Very helpful info. Excactly what I'm looking for.

Sorry, I should have mentioned my local immigration office is Chaengwattana.
Do I just turnup and ask for the letter of residence. I presume I'd need passport and evidence of me staying at this address.
Thanks

I have bought a new Honda. I am being told that I now need a letter of residence from immigration to get the registration in my name.
Does anyone know the process to acquire this "letter of residence"?
Appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

Good news yet they keep talking 70% first vaccination for opening up???
I said this in another post, but I got the AZ jab yesterday at Ploenchit Centre. Very gratefull to receive the vaccine - and for free - but my goodness, what a circus!
To eventually get the jab it took five hours (!) of queueing, paperwork, blood pressure tests, more paperwork, more queues, and more tests. Unbelievable. It wasn't that busy either!
The Thais really need to sort this out. Organise a system whereby less time is spent on bureaucratic BS (although some is obviously important) and more time on getting the vaccine in peoples' arms.
Yesterday there were only 250,000 people who got the jab (including me) but this is way way below the kind of numbers required. Sort it out!!

I like the Robin Hood. I like that it's opposite the park - nice for a walk and let the kids run. But honestly, the Londoner is better. Not for location. But for beer (great drafts), food, and atmosphere.

I've been to them all in BKK over the years. Best by miles - and a place I only discovered just before the most recent closures - is the Londoner on Phatthanakan Rd. Great beer, great food. Great for families. It's a little expensive but if you can afford it, it's a very enjoyable three or four hours on a Sunday afternoon.

Must be Thai parents. I am far more worried about the continuation of ineffective online learning after 14 June when schools are supposed to be re-opening. Education doesn't seem a priority for Thai parents or the Thai government. ????
Agreed. But unfortunately education for children has never been - and never will be - a priority in Thailand. Makes my blood boil when people in this country say they love children. Actions speak louder than words.

As so often in Thailand, there isn't a hard and fast rule.
I have a social security card and was offered a free test last week when I requested.
However, that means waiting in a line with quite a lot of 'suspect' people.
I instead chose to get myself and family tested in our car. I private test. Cost 2,500.
We were negative.

Through work I know many people based in China, mainly Beijing and Shanghai.
All of them were vaccinated some months ago with the Sinovac dose (along with millions and millions of others in China).
None of my colleagues report anything untoward. All fine and healthy and vaccinated.
I'd take it.

You are certainly not forced to be tested, but you might want to be tested in a few days to get peace of mind that neither of you are positive.
Now, you do have a social responsibility to stay home isolated for the next 2 weeks.
Do you mind sharing where in Thailand the bf and his family are?
Yes we do and that is what we are doing. It's important. Bf and family in Lam Luka

So my daughter in law has been staying with us in our house for eight days. She came to us from her boyfriend, whose father and mother contracted Covid.
Since staying upstairs in our house she has been completely isolated in that time (separate bedroom, separate toilet). We have had zero contact apart from putting food by the bedroom door.
And I have not allowed her out of the room. Today the daughter-in-law was diagnosed with Covid.
Does anyone know, will me and wife be forced to have tests if we have had zero contact with the daughter in law?
Thank you.,

PHA president Dr. Chalerm Harnpanich said the reason the price will be set the same nationwide is to get as many people as possible vaccinated, not to make a profit.
HAHAHA Brilliant. Wait for it........

Britons living overseas should obtain the vaccine in their country of residence. They cannot arrange a vaccine in the UK from overseas.

From where?

im confused on restaurants. Open or not? Beach open?

Was thinking of popping over to Pattaya for the weekend with the misses.
Obviously, the attraction is the nice hotel selection.
But will Central (and restarants inside) be open?
Will restaurants outside be open?
Is the beach open, and can you buy a beer at 7/11 and drink it on the beach?
Any ideas?
Cheers.

I have to do a 90 day report tomorrow at Chamchuri Square. It's been a long while since I went in person. Plan to get there for 9am (when it opens, I think).
Sorry for the question, but what is required when actually notifying in person? Copies of passport? Photo? I'm guessing the TM47 form? Anything else?
Thank you for any assistance. J
90 day report online is working ?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

The site doesn't work for those people - like me - that have DWPs through BOI companies. We have to go to Chamchuri Sq. The online portal used to work perfectly for us, but not any more.
But it's typical... They make living and working in Thailand more and more difficult for the group of people the government claims it wants to attract!!
