Sorry, for coming back. Only in UK for a few days.

Started to panic....I am flying back in a few weeks!!!

    Cheers.

It's a farce. They want you to do the COE form or something. But the COE is down and there is no replacement. I need to travel and come back early November. So what am I to do? Is Thailand Pass working, when will it work? Anyone know?

  2. I need to go to the UK for work early November. And come back to Thailand.

I have been trying repeatedly to input documents into the COE form today.

    But it is not working.

It keeps saying "Please attach a copy of vaccination certificate."

What am I to do? Any others experiencing this?

[I do understand that the rules are changing but the COE is needed now and I need to organise flights, insurance, etc now]

    Thanks for any input.

Every arrival, foreign or Thai needs a CoE.

You need a Certificate of Insurance (which states Covid cover up to or over US$100,000)

If not vaccinated you need to book ASQ (quarantine hotel).

If vaccinated you can ‘Island quarantine’ (Phuket Sandbox, or Samui Plus) - you’ll need to book an SHA+ certified hotel.

    Thanks!

So for the COE, how long does the insurance have to be? My digital work permit expires in March 2022. Until then? Or for one year? Thank you!

  4. Hello. Firstly apologies if wrong forum. Secondly, many thanks for any help with my query. I have searched here but can't find anything that relates to my matter.

I am UK national. I live and work in Thailand. I have a digital work permit (expires March 2022) with BOI company. I have a Thai social security card. I need to travel to UK to work in November. I will be in the UK for about 10 days. I am guessing I will need COE. I have health insurance already with Bangkok Insurance. But I don't know if this will help with COE.

    My questions......

To apply for COE, must insurance be in English or OK if in Thai?

If I have yearly work permits (as I do) for how long should the COE insurance be for?

    Many thanks for your help.

  5. I am the OP.

On Thursday I went to the Thai-Japan institute of technology where I received my second vaccine.

The gave me a number of someone at Mor Phrom to call after hearing my complaint 'I have no certificate showing second vaccine'

The man at Mor Phrom I spoke to said many foreigners are having problems with the Mor Phrom system. It's related to the ID number requirement, he said.

I have a Thai social security card and the system wants to register this number instead, but this causes some issues.

The bottom line is that some foreigners are not receiving certificates in the Mor Phrom phone app.

But the man said the certificate is registered internally with Mor Phrom (and is showing on their servers) but that it sometimes doesn't show on the Mor Phrom app or the Thairuamjai website.

He sent me my certificate on Line.

Here's a problem that I have not seen reported. When I got the vaccine jab, the admin at the hospital entered my phone number incorrectly.  I only found out because when I tried to register my ID/Phone combo on the app, it returned an error: Your ID was found, but the phone number you entered in the app does not match the system.
This means it could not get to the step where it sends me an SMS with a one-time password to authenticate myself.

So....I trudge back to the hospital to see what's going on.

Well...it seems like the hospital registration contacts the mor phrom server only ONCE to report your phone number. Because I looked and the number they had for me was not correct. They corrected it in their system, BUT....Mor Phrom server does not get updated so it NEVER recognizes my corrected phone number.

I don't know who to contact at Mor Phrom to get them to update my phone number so I can register. Anyone else dealt with this special problem?

I haven't seen this problem - but I made many calls today asking several people. Eventually a Mor Phrom man called me back. He told me many foreigners are having problems with the system. It's related to the ID number requirement. I have a Thai social security card and the system wants to register this instead. He said the certificate is registered internally with Mor Prom but that the certificate sometimes doesn't show on the Mor Prom app or the Thairuamjai website.

If you have your 13 digit ID number - the ones issued for this purpose start 60000 - then download the Mor Phrom app, and you should see your certificate and Digital Health Pass.  Or not, there are reports of issues with it (there's a shock  ????).  It worked fine for me anyway.

Oh, there's a pop-up with a lot of Thai on it - something about post-jab feedback - and 2 options, the small Thai word is "close" and that gets me past it.

I have Thai social security card number - but no it's not working

  8. I got my second AZ shot one month ago.

But on Thairuamjai.com it still doesn't show a certificate (on the green button).

However, on the other buttons on the website it shows that I have received two doses.

Has anyone else had this issue? How to get the certificate showing up?

    Thanks

He is possibly guilty but shouldn't the guy still still have the benefit of"innocent until proven guilty"?

This concept doesn't apply at all in Thailand.

    Ever watch the news?

More than half of this 'news' couldn't be broadcast in the UK or nearly all other countries.

Such 'news' that alleges this and that is called "prejudicing legal proceedings" and is punishable by imprisonment.

  10. I drove the new design CRV for one year.

    I was very disappointed indeed.

    Drank loads of gas.

    Bad handling.

    Terrible centre console set up.

Honda sedans are good. Not the CRV.

Toyota SUVs are better even if they're based on the Hilux truck
