  1. You forget... when the brown envelope has been delivered and distributed, bus OK, keep driving...
  2. But would it not be true some of the boys would be yearning for some contact with the opposite sex - a chance for some pink inclined boys to play their fantasies?
  3. My son and his wife were looking for a new school to transition there daughter about to finish kinder to primary school They really likes one school but quite a distance from home and they have 2 ther kids to get to school. School marketing lady suggested using their school bus and instantly made a big deal about how safe their buses and drivers are abd suggested my daughter in law (DIL) take the bus the next morning to see the safety level. She took the bus and discovered: - The teacher assigned to travel with the bus sitting in the front can chatting and eating and pouring coffee with the driver, no monitoring whatever of what was happening in the main cabin where the kids travel. - Bus in motion travelling fast, a very young kid suddenly opened the sliding door to the main cabin and opened the door - full open. - Many kids now squatting right on the ledge of the open door. DIL quickly closed the door and told he kids to get back and she discovered the internal lock on the sliding door is broken. - DIL then spoke direct to the teacher in the front seat and he driver. - Teacher responded 'never mind because the kids do this several times every trip'. - DIL sits at the sliding door for the rest of the long trip, doesn't allow any kid to touch the door / door handle. - Bus arrives at the school, teacher gets out and walks direct to the teachers check-in room. Driver goes direct to the drivers coffee area. - Kids all get out and mill around and eventually go to several class rooms. - DIL goes to the marketing office to talk to the lady who had recommended she take the bus to observe the good safety. - Marketing lady says 'why do you try to make troube. -Son and his wife now check a couple more schools and then discover a well recommended private school 10 minute from their house. They ask about safety, they get shown many posters mean and invited to talk to some kids 'what does this poster men' etc. the kids could / did answer correctly. - DIL asks about school bus. Answer: 'We don't have school buses, it's the responsibility of parents to bring their kids to school and bring them to their class room.
  4. 2k Posted 8 hours ago No such thing as a bad dog breed. Just bad owners. And it looks like this committee will address that issue. American people kill more people per year than American Pitbulls. I have never seen an American Pitbull pull off a mass shooting. They are inherently more dangerous but everyone wants to kill all the dogs. None of that means that pitbulls are OK / OK to be inside houses / OK to be near children or adults. They are vicious, they aim to kill.
  5. Gross and totally inappropriate, they should be with their parents.
  6. I am a widower, my Thai wife (Dr.of Medicine) passed away many years ago. I have never had any desire to remarry.
  7. QUESTION 1: what happen if the Thai owner dies ? Does the family need to respect the document ? Answer even if the Thai owner dies and bequeaths the property to a family member the Usufruct remains intact. Also if the person who inherits the property wants to sell it they must obtain written permission to sell from the person named in the Usufruct. QUESTION 2: Does the owner, one day, has the right to leave in this same house ? I assume have the right to live in the house ? Answer YES.
  8. My Thai son has some flexibility in his working days / hours, so when a field trip is announced he gets full details and follows the bus in his own car with whichever of his kids are on the trip. He's very careful to never be accused of interfering in any way. If it's overnight he takes a room at the resort or hotel, books early so he can get the room next to were the 'mob' of kids will sleep. He secretly sets up several small cameras so he can monitor the next room (where the kids are sleeping) all night. Why? Because his cousin lost a small son in a bus fire, and as already mentioned lots of comments about new regulations etc., but nothing ever happened. The school involved claimed they had insurance but after many discussions nothing happened and the school insisted they could not allow anybody to see the insurance policy / receipts. Police refused to get involved in any way.
  9. Sorry, I don't see the joke.
  10. That's a big assumption. Do you know these people well, personal long time friends?
  11. So what? You just admitted you pitbull has bitten 5 or 6 times. Proof that he bites. Then you say it's your fault. So why do something that you know will stir the dog to bite? And what about if you're away from the location? good chance the dog will bite anybody. And please don't tell me it's all about training. Pitbulls are aggressive, they bite, they try to kill. Training won't totally cancel their aggressiveness and the danger they pose.
  12. But many believe in this stuff. When my Thai son went with his fiancee to meet her parents upcountry it was quickly revealed to all that his father (me) was a farang. Girls mother went into spasms claiming that if her daughter married my son then the whole family would die a horrible / painful death. The mother is the 'well respected' village chief. if she says it's Saturday on a Wednesday then it's Saturday. Son insisted his fiancee's mother and father and her 4 siblings (F, 2M, all between 25 - 35 years old) come to Bkk for 2 or 3 days at sons' expense and meet me. We owned a very big condo with several bedrooms, not far from Pantip Plaza. Eventually they did come but with 2 security guards from their village who stayed with them 24/7 including inside the condo. They were shocked when I spoke to them in Thai. Son took one of the security guards to a nearby mini mart and bought beer and Thai whiskey and mixers (out of our fridge not workable, afraid they would be poisoned.), I sat on the floor with them attending to their drinks, ensuring they could see the beer / whiskey being poured from a newly opened bottle. Second day they were more relaxed and for dinner we all went to a local essan restaurant, Thai staff at the restaurant greeted me like a close friend, lots of silly conversation etc. End of Third day the girls mother and father announced that I was not dangerous but I could not come to their village, and they agreed to the marriage. Marriage went ahead 6 months later. Since then son's fiancee's parents have visited us in Bkk many times, all very relaxed and friendly.
  13. Agree and that in turn will create a negative against trump. Good news.
  14. Actually the checking of movements is computerized. there's a live 24/7 link between Australia immigration and C'link, every passport entry is advised automatically by the live link to C.link. If it matches a passport number in the OAP records then an entry 'out' / 'in' goes automatically onto the C'link file for that person. All online, always up to date. I asked a few years ago if there's any similar online link between Immigration and the ATO. The answer was strongly 'NO, because that would be breaking the law'.
  15. Could be true but he's ignoring that: - Aussies can have their OAP transferred directly from C'link to a bank account in Thailand or any country by international bank transfer, instantaneous transfer and the banking costs are extremely small. e.g. 120Baht. - The funds are not subject to tax or checking by the Aust Tax office. - There is no checking by the ATO re resident / non-resident / six months here / six months there. - Thai personal taxation provides several allowances which reduce the annual taxable amount and if the person is 80 year old or more the annual taxable amount is very low, especially if the person has no other income and in fact there's no Thai tax payable. - The final taxable amount in Thailand is not checked e resident / non-resident / six months here / six months there.
  16. I am a foreigner and I have true wallet but I find it too cumbersome / complicated to use, so I aim for purchases for which I can us K+, so simple, especially if you record some favorites, which come up for instant use whenever you open K+. But I do regularly monitor the balance I have in my K+ account. And It's easy to add more funds into K+ from KBiz, as needed. My Thai son and his Thai wife and my uni age Thai granddaughter all have True wallet and all have K PLus and 2 have Prompt pay, the third person just registered for Prompt Pay. I ask my son and his wife and my grand daughter 'how often do you us True Wallet?' Answer,'only use it when it's the absolute only option, because it's too complicated. The 2 members of my family who us Prompt Pay say it's easy and quick to use.
  17. Already on my ignore list for some time.
  18. " 15 hours ago, Cameroni said: If Trump does not win in November the whole world will have lost. " Trump isn't capable of contributing to world harmony and you can't believe anything he says - greatest liar of all time. - Most of your comments re Ukraine are less that honest / correct. further if Russia wins that war stand by for the vicious Russian invasion of surrounding countries, much destruction and thousands killed. Yes Zelenski has been a comedian in the past but note he's now ranked as a very capable world leader. And he's making big inroads into reducing corruption in Ukraine, much more so that most other countries in that region. You think trump will end the ukraine war overnight, dream on.
  19. K.Heinekin just posted a long comment about me. As usual full of mistakes. Just one example, Aussies war vets receiving a permanent disability compensation payment can elect to have the compensation payment automatically transferred to a thai bank. I've been doing that for many years.
  20. Plus, yes there is risk in banking, do you realize there's ways to easily limit risk when you use internet banking / bank apps?
  21. Australian allowed anybody to buy land / big parcels of land, land and house, condos / multiple condos for many decades but in more recent time buyers (large majority Japanese and others) have had to relinquish these properties. Now not easy to buy and in some areas property sectors not allowed. Are you aware of the usufruct concept. Foreigners can have a usufruct document attached to the land title document, if the wife agrees. If / when completed: - It means you can reside in the property until you die. - The property cannot be sold without your written permission. - The only person who can cancel the usufruct document is you. My Thai son added a usufruct document in my name to the chanut for his land and house (all done at the local land titles office).
