  1. He is comparing faith to quantum physics. He doesn't understand the scientific method and how it distinguishes facts from theories. That's all I need to know. If you have been foolish enough to read his nonsense for years, it's your own fault. I'm not the "bonkers" one.
  2. More correctly. Ok, I'm rational. You're not.
  3. More nonsense. You can't compare the flowery nonsense you wrote concerning "intelligent design" and "understanding it" with quantum physics. The fact that you think you can speaks volumes. You don't understand the simple concept of faith and that it isn't based on anything that can be proven.
  4. Jeeeeeesus Christ! It's not possible to prove the nonexistence of something that doesn't exist. "Prove" the Easter Bunny doesn't exist. It is incumbent on the people who claim a supreme being does exist to prove it. Smarter persons than you have been unsuccessfully trying for centuries. The fact that you would even pose that question demonstrates you haven't given this topic any serious thought. I won't be wasting any more time with you. You're on my ignore list.
  5. Another nonsensical comment. Your question doesn't make sense because I didn't call anyone any names. Therefore, I can't answer it. This is typical of this site. People with weak positions (like yourself) keep changing the subject until they feel like they have "won". My original point stands. "Intelligent design" makes no sense, unless, of course, you choose to redefine it so that it says nothing about any "intelligence" in the design. Some believers with weak faith feel the need to defend indefensible positions at all costs. Probably too many missionaries on here. This thread is what one would expect if one were foolish enough to open the door when they came knocking.
  6. Your comment indirectly says I'm stupid, but I don't feel the least bit insulted by it. It's as if someone said 2+2=5. and I replied "that doesn't make sense". To which the original poster said my "lack of comprehension is my own doing". I can accept that. No problem.
  7. I didn't call any particular person a fool. If you feel indirectly insulted by comments like mine, you are probably reading and participating in the wrong type of thread. There are plenty of threads about visas you can read that won't leave you feeling offended.
  8. Privileged Westerner outlook. Try telling a Syrian that the world is a "perfect environment for the tasks and lessons we set out to receive". What does that even mean? "...tasks and lessons we set out to receive."? I suspect there is a high correlation between a trust in pretty, nonsensical phrases and the belief in a supreme being. If not, belief wouldn't be sustainable. Belief is about faith. Any attempts to rationalize it are futile. Using terms like "intelligent design" to describe faith is silly. Yet believers do, to bolster their own faith and to try to make themselves look less foolish. Fail...
  9. In my opinion, it does disprove intelligent design. What's your definition of "intelligent design". You'll probably just google it. Surely someone has tweaked the definition of intelligent design to allow for all the faults in human design.
  10. That isn't an explanation of "intelligent design". It's just an explanation of what occurs. "Intelligent" design would have eliminated redundant physiological body parts regardless of when they occurred in our embryonic development. Men can get breast cancer (ductal carcinoma). No breasts, no cancer. Sounds like an intelligent design. Aside: Very strange that you would choose Spock for your profile picture. Unless it's meant mockingly.
  11. Intelligent design? Why do men have nipples? This thread was started in 2019. Maybe this has already be mentioned by some of you hardcore followers. Sorry for the duplication. I only read the first few posts. I don't expect to find any enlightenment by reading all 537 pages.
  12. If he really wanted to disappear, was it smart to go to Pattaya? I suspect Pattaya is where the police start any search for Farang criminals.
  13. Just FYI for those who are interested. ASEANNOW deleted my earlier post. I probably linked to a site I was not allowed to link to. My apologies. The Thai media link I posted earlier had many pictures of her at the airport surrounded by police. If you're interested in seeing the pictures, you can plug " บินกลับแล้ว! ตร.ส่งหญิงไทย " into your search browser and will likely find the article. Two interesting things I noticed. 1. The police were all wearing "Tourist Police" windbreakers. Why Tourist Police? Has she been out of the country that long that she needs English speaking escorts? 2. She boarded at the First Class/Business Class gate. Hope she was uncomfortable anyway. She's on the plane 4 days later than the Thai police promised, but at least they got it done.

  14. Sorry, this was my attempt at humor. Maybe you have to be from Texas to understand the humor. Texans are a unique breed. Not seriously debating the correctness of what you have written.
  15. If you don't understand, then apparently you are not from Texas. We train all our 8 year olds in precision shooting and proper firearm operation/management/safety. The Texan child is fully capable of securing an unattended weapon. School "boss" is obviously not a Texan. Probably an Okie. That is the disturbing issue here.
  16. Aside from not being a crypto guy, I'm also no social media expert. That being said, I did notice that his account is listed on socialblade.com and they report he is still making income. I think socialblade.com is one of the biggest social media account trackers. I would hope they screen the accounts for monetization before posting predicted income. I'm not familiar with monetization policies, but I hope he would get something if they are showing advertisements before, during or after his videos. I use an adblocker, so I never see any ads. I can't verify the presence of ads.
  17. Just looked as his channel again. He posted a "Short" three months ago. So account is still active. Have to draw your own conclusions.
  18. I'm not a crypto guy, but I noticed he posted his BTC account address in the description box of his YouTube channel. Went to Blockchain.com and entered his address. It looks like after a long period of inactivity, a small net transaction out was posted yesterday. If I'm reading it correctly, 4 transactions in, one transaction out with a net decrease of the account of $14.55. I assume that means he's still alive. Someone else could have access to his account, of course. No way to be sure. Did you already email him or send him a DM on his Twitter account?
  19. The incompetence is amazing. Need more info. Did it escape in a populated area? "Ay Bort" translated as "the blind one" is a very mild translation. Anything with "Ay" is very pejorative.
  20. Wrong. Your English comprehension skills and spelling are as bad as your research skills. And now we also have to call your judgement into question, if you place TE's credibility (note the spelling) on the same level as ABC News, CBS News, AP News, etc., despite the three blatant inaccuracies I pointed out.
  21. Comment only highlights your lack of research skills and those of the Thai Examiner (which is the news source chosen by ASEAN NOW). My assessment stands. Oh, and another falsehood, she was not arrested in Chonburi.
  22. Oh, and here's a nice quote. Google it yourself... ABC News, CBS News, AP News, NY Post, The Detroit News, The Oakland Press (Tubtim's hometown paper) even the goddamned LaotianTimes. “We did not arrest her. After she knew the facts, she showed the intention to accept the punishment in the U.S.,” he said. “This will be a good example for Thai society.” Get your <deleted> together, Lou...
  23. To prove me wrong you quote an unreliable news source (the Thai Examiner). The TE stays she fled four days after the accident. Wrong. She fled two days after the accident (January 3rd). The TE states she was "arrested last week" (which you so conveniently put in bold font). Wrong, she was apprehended by the police the day prior to the news report (dateline 16 February). Believe what you want, but you're not proving me wrong by quoting a clearly false news report.
