  1. We have a Honda Scoopy that is about 2 years old with 14000 km on the clock. Everything is fine with the bike apart from this whining or whisling type sound particularly between 40-60 kmph. I have noticed quite a few Honda scooters seem to have this same noise and wondered if it was a common fault and how easy would it be to fix. It doesn't affect the way the scooter runs but i find it a bit annoying and so would rather not have it.
  2. Lets hope at the very least the head kicker gets locked up.
  3. Maybe because it is BS or at least an exaggeration
  4. Sounds like a bandwagon jump. An opportunity to sell some products
  5. And i wonder how many innocent people did or are still doing time thanks to him and his crooked pals. There are probably some who have disappeared/lost their lives because they got in his way
  6. Got to feel sorry for the poor guy wrongly accused
  7. Try and sort it through an agent beforehand would be my advice
  8. Well assuming his car is not a total wreck and he has the blue book in his name then it will be worth something to sell. I can't recall ever seeing a car in Thailand for sale for less than about 30k so even that small amount should last him at least a month.
  9. I absolutely would not go back and live in the UK and sometimes wonder what kind of boring life i would have if i hadn't found Thailand 30 odd years ago. A recent trip back home confirmed to me that i am in the right place here. For all it's faults, Thailand is still a great place to live compared to a western country. You do need to incorporate some routine into your life here which must include exercise. Drinking must also be limited, in fact staying out of bars altogether is probably the way to go. As for the ladies, i suppose it depends on if you like old and plump with attitude or younger and slim. I know which i prefer.
  10. Absolute tosh. Somebody with connections didn't want any prosecutions here and so there wern't any
  11. Cash in hand work...masssage, hairdressing, probably claiming benefits there too.
  12. I don't doubt for one second that the Burmese men are telling the truth.
  13. Agents are not keen to deal with marriage extensions and if age permits will suggest the retirement extension instead. Those that are under 50 without the required bank balance are the ones with a problem.
  14. Yes because in most cases that is wanted. Most guys however don't like being grabbed by other guys even if they are wearing a wig and a dress
