:between 1973 and 2012, 85% of the food poisoning outbreaks in the US that were caused by leafy greens such as cabbage, kale, lettuce and spinach were traced back to food prepared in a restaurant or catering facility ( 13Trusted Source ).

    oh dear ....

so it appears at this stage to be the soy dipping sauce, I suspect it was home made by the motorcycle cart vendor.

A problem with these food sellers is they start at 9.00am and move around all day and the food sits in a glass cabinet stinking hot with the odd fly having morning tea on it and the vendor still sells that same sausage or crab stick or dumpling at 5.00pm .... some 8 hours later .....  what would one expect   ?

    yes, spot on

where does it say borders will be locked? it's the health secretary's opinion and actually makes some sense; get brits to holiday incountry and have foreign tourists coming, good for the economy.

to stimulate this sound economic initiative they could tax retirees abroad

to promote retirement in england, for a unified effort to strengthen

brittish economy in these rough times

  4. im with richard about verifying ability to transfer at dlt.

i was screwed by a big dealer here.

as for which bike, its in the eyes of the beholder almost altogether,

almost, but a universal law is avoid pipes that can burn your leg/foot,

see to it that it cant happen or look for some other bike.

there has also been some bad stuff bikes over the years,

bikes that at the face of it is just riddled with fails,

some blog reading / reputation should be applied first

As they always give you antibiotics after surgery, it probably wouldn't matter.

I'd be OK with it, assuming I'd be OK with a Thai doctor cutting me open ..... which I'm not.

Remember, every Thai medical student that had the money to pay the course fees ....... passed.

there is reputation also, i would take sheryls word for it,

i take for granted she has data to back up her recommendations

  6. yes, a falang wanted to borrow, i cant recall 2-500 thb,

he offered his watch as collateral, and in hindsight i should have taken the watch in collateral, cause i never heard or saw him again.

to put in perspective there is dozens of thais i lost money on, so the caution of falangs here is odd,

but, old falangs can really be time wasters like no one else, tho that probably comes down to age and got nothing to do with nationality

Easy, it's called acclimatization, (A posh word for getting used to it).

This only happens if you don't use air con much. I'd really struggle without electric fans though, hard to imagine living here without those. Air con I can take or leave...

spot on. the first year here i used no fan or air con,

i was outdoors almost constantly and delighted

i was finally having SUN. i just didnt sweat.

now i sit at the puter or lay down in bed most of the time and constantly

need a fan directed on me or i will sweat, and on occasion i need aircon

to cool down, im uncomfortable below 28c and above 32c

Perhaps the excuse for apparently driving through the red light in this case was 'micro-sleep'?

micro sleep is actually a real thing, i drove sleeping through an entire city once when i was working, admittedly a small town and the road was straight luckily, with only 2 red lights that apparently was green for me.

on many other occasions my eyes were taking pics, it was no longer a continuous video, that is what concentration 12 hours in a row causes

As we know, anything goes here.

Trying to find a clear definition in the Thai highway is difficult.

In the UK Highway Code you are required to stop when the amber light (alone) shows:

"AMBER means ‘Stop’ at the stop line. You may go on only if the AMBER appears after you have crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to pull up might cause an accident."

yes, i will defend my action by concluding i could not stop in a timely manner, but the amber light gave me ample warning ahead of time,

i cant with a straight face claim i didnt have time to stop before red light
