My mrs bought a house before we married   she talked to the bank and has been given a year of interest only which has halved the mortgage.

I just had stuff come in from the UK and USA this week. Customs are a nightmare  at this time. Not enough work to keep them busy. What normally goes straight through immediately  is taking a few days. With them asking for an import licence for a tin of car wax.  Just be patient and it should happen as the guys in China generally  go for the cheapest price and it takes ages.

The decision to open salons has been reversed. As a salon owner my wife said you are telling people to buy rubbish ????

You should also talk to your embassy as they have to release you to your family here.

Bangkok insisted on seeing the money again before issuing  the extension. They also tried to imply  that 400k was not enough although I just put that down to someone having  a bad day. 

I tested a car last week and did not get stuck in traffic at all. In  25 plus years of driving here it was a first.. and why I generally  drive a 500cc motorcycle

I have gym equipment at home, plenty of food and entertainment, my dogs, the wife so life is good. Drinking, bars, curfew etc does not affect me at all. The main issues for most people to deal with are psychological. I was prepared for something  like this and am comfortable with my own company so am unaffected thus far. The wife finally admitted  that I was not crazy for having  been prepared long term instead of just for the next few days. Take care everyone and try not to make too many babies ????
