Called a plumber. My handyman unblocks sinks (and toilets) in our homes on a regular basis. It doesn't take an "engineer" to unblock a sink but most of the repairmen or odd job men like to think of themselves as "engineers" or "technicians"
Stop blocking them then...

The privacy window gets smaller monthly!
What's next, everyone wearing a camera?
Like there aren't enough cameras pointing at us already.
It's all pretty disgusting in my opinion.
If I was a Police Officer and instructed to wear a camera I would resign.
....you definitely would need re-training if you were to wear a camera.

Was he drunk when he fleeced the hostess?
I am pretty sure that it was the alcohol who made him do that.
Otherwise, a Thai would never do such thing.
Don't worry khun Watchana.
Just say that you are sorry and make a big "Wai" and you will be back in your taxi in no time.
...I wish I knew about 'wai's in my country growing up..would have saved me at least a 100 kicks up the bum and clips around the 'eart-hole'.

BKK Post is reporting that four of them are the sons of police officers. Hmm, wonder how this one is gonna' end........
Thailand is experiencing a moral crisis at the moment. It is not a crisis of outsiders destroying their culture, not Western influence, not drugs.........It is a crisis of a society where people are capable of behaving with near impunity on virtually all levels of society. A culture where so few take personal responsibility, few ever dare to apologize for a mistake (unless paraded in front of cameras), and where men are not taught how to behave like men. Simply put, Thailand needs to make a very serious (and quick) decision regarding the future of the nation. Will people be able to continually behave like animals with no consequences? Or will Thailand begin enforcing the notion of personal responsibility and forcing those to commit wrong doings to pay a heavy price? I am not so confident in the countries future.......

I do not believe 1 word of this.
I have been in a Thai prison, and i was treated with the greatest of respect.
Staff and prisoners went out of their way to help me.
He did wrong and is trying to disguise what he did with lies.
...we all have our stories and our own ways of telling them...if it makes him feel better..let him go!

A nightmare for the country,.....how about for all the fearful tourists and expats who live here waiting for their own kick to the head ?
..they have never heard of a 'foot patrol' = walking in pairs with a baton, torch and hand held radio in those areas that attract locals drinking and misbehaving...they're too scared here to take on their own..and just look at the cowardly behavior Thai men and how they terrify everyone that walks into their 'territory'..they don't care as no-one is ever going to stop them!
High time the authorities took policing and protecting the community seriously.
I was under the impression the Army demanded respect from the Police...it seems to all have gone south.
Heavy handed tactics are needed to target these areas and those Thais who are making life a misery for so many including expats, tourists and the poor Lao woman.
Deplorable and totally unacceptable behavior not to be tolerated anywhere on the planet.
How about regular Army patrols Mr PM to restore harmony, peace and law and order?

Before you do anything rash or expensive squirt some WD40 penetrating oil ( or similar ) into the keyhole. Has worked for me hundreds of times. That stuff is one of the worlds great inventions,.
That sounds good, not too technical and cheap.
...give it a thump with the heel of your hand..it will most probably spring the ignition mechanism..at least you will be able to turn and get the key out..maybe fix the problem temporarily.
(Ive seen this done by one of the major Honda dealers here)...worth a try!

..not knowing where you are OP...but in Chiang Mai at Anusarn Market (off Changklan Rd) there is Muslim restaurant on the left as your walking/driving to the rear Charoenpratet Rd exit..this restaurant shares a small space at the front right where a young Thai/Chinese guy makes fresh egg noodles the traditional way in front of you..draws a few onlookers as he is swinging, looping, shredding and stretching the dough...good tucker!
Hope this helps.

Seriously , no need to be rude. People may think you are a Born Again and not a newbie
Nobody's being rude.
It was a valid correction followed by a facetious little pin prick.
Only an overinflated ego would pop.
Certainly not NancyL.
