I am a licensed Ham operator with a Thai radio amateur license HF-VHF. So I know what I am talking about. The answer on you questions is NO.
You need a license for all kind of radio transmitters, even a PMR or Walky Talkie. In case they catch you I don't come to visit you in jail. I know cases been catched.... don' t want to replace them. So one advise: DON'T DO IT !!!!

Why no or not many answers on this kind of questions? Because this questions returns every week over and over again with the same answers. People get tired to answer always the same questions.

A question starting with: 'A friend' .... I always have doubts about it. This 'Friend' cannot write or read himself?
Would like to see how this 'friend' completed the application form to give you an answer. All of this looks just as a combination of a mix of an application as Retired and Married with Thai woman. So not possible as it is the one or the other.
The only thing I can guess is: the former application and extension was as retired and the present one as married. In this case Immi wants to check you fulfilled the conditions on your former extension, 3 months after extension still had the 400K on the bank or income all year every month of 65K and now, as married, fulfill the conditions as married, so with the presents of your Thai wife, with pictures ........

I went this week for a one year extension: 9 copies at 2THB/1: gave 20THB.
I ask myself: what can be the problem?
Your problem is: you don't have 800K THB but only 760K.... again asking myself: why you cannot have 40K more? You are such a poor man and have such a low income you cannot save 40K?
I suppose you knew the immigration rules before you came to Thailand. If not you are not only poor but also not very clever.

What kind of a man are you? In case I was your girlfriend I would leave a person as you are. You are one of the cheap farangs. For what it will cost: repaint the ceiling and just chut up.

Mr DDJJ,
it is very clear you are abusing the Covid Extension rules. You came in on a visa exemption in March and wants to stay till October, so it is very clear your intentions were to stay LONG. Get a correct visa. Don't forget: a covid extension is in the fist place a FAVOR. It doesn't matters how much you spend, even it is 100.000THB/m

Retired , staying year out year in on a tourist visa: yes, this will be the advantage on staying in Thailand with the wrong visa. Now people, having a visa, made by some agents, not able to have the correct one with year extension because not fulfilling the immigration financial rules, now they will complain and blame Thailand again and again. Get the write visa and and do what you have to do.

I really don't understand people anymore. There is a rule, just follow this rule. Is this so difficult? Are this guys so dependent on drinking alcohol? In case I want to drink a beer, I drink it at home, same taste. I just can call them STUPID and I hope this people receive a high bill and for me, they can deport them, back to where they were coming from. We don't need people like this, they are just good to give us a bad reputation.

I am a shortwave radio amateur with legal license in Thailand and Cambodia. Making contacts, all over the world using the MORSE code.
I like to write and read. Just finished writing my second technical book for Ham operators. The first has been published by the ARRL as 5th edition in 2001.

90d report.... no problem at all for me. This are the rules and you know it before you come and stay in Thailand. To me it takes a few minutes and it is done. I combine it with a visit at Makro.... I just wonder what some people have so busy and urgent to do that one visit at immigration in 3 months would be a problem.....

You have wrong information: on Koh Samui trhere is all you need concerning farang shops, bars, good massages..... Makro's Big C, Tesco Lotus ..... EVERYTHING. Going shoppin at Surat Thani? Do you have an idea how long it takes to go there?
Prices at Koh Samui are higher as CM as you are on an island.

Looks like some people thinks that because they can register for a jab they will get one. Registering and getting are two different things. It is somewhere very normal own people first.

Oh Yes, they are very different on the islands as they are special trained to only bite farangs. Countryside they are not as there are mostly not enough farangs present for the mosquitoes to have fun.

The rules are very clear and did not change at all: you have to keep the 800K 3 months after receiving your DEFINITE stamp of extension of stay. After you can drop till 400K. Most Immi offices don't control at the next 90d report what doesn't mean you are free to take the risk to ignore or not fulfill this rule as at your next extension application they certainly will check it. In case you did break this rule they can refuse your new extension. It is all clear in case you can read.

no doubt. it is an amaryllis. Very easy to grow and likes warm areas.

Yes, the will has to be written in Thai language and it is the only version what is legal. If not it shall have to be translated to Thai language by a legal translator. A will always goes by court in Thailand. In the will, you better specify the specifications of the account: bank name, owner of the account, number to not have discussions later.

In case 500THB is a reason to not go to Phuket well you don't go as you will complain on everything you have to pay for. Fist of all: you are not a Thai civilian, so you don't have to expect the same advantages as a Thai. I case you want the same advantages as in your home country, you stay there, so easy it is.

I am getting angry and that obviously doesn't help either.
Getting angry is the best thing you can do to be sure you will have no cooperation at all anymore and will be send away. Go on like this and you risk to be send away, next time you go, again. Don't forget: They are the boss and not you. -
Why people are so negative about everything Thailand is doing? Nothing looks to be good for the 'experts' here on Thaivisa. Do you think your home country is doing better? If so, go back there and take your negative minds with you.

Best place to ask a question as this is in a hospital. When I have a problem with my car I don't ask about the repair price in a bakery or at the butcher around the corner.

And what did they do with the people without driving license or not having a helmet on? They payed the fee and could continue driving. Put they car or motorbike beside till somebody shows up with a license or a helmet to pick up the car or motorbike but don't let them continue driving. This will be the only thing working. Same with drunk driving: don't let them drive one meter more, take them of the road.

I don't know why people complain so much about that 90d report.... it is a peace of cake, you even don't have to do by yourself. So I don't think this will change something for people coming or not coming to retire in Thailand.
But what will make not MORE people will come is thinking retired people have an income of 2-300.000THB/m. I am sure there are more retired people, even after a full career of working, even don't have 100.000THB/m as pension or the THB has to drop again to 50THB for 1 Eu.
Buying a house of 10.000.000THB same story: a dream, nothing more than a dream. If it would be 5.000.000THB this could have some effect.
They think all farangs have a money tree in they garden. People with this income or savings don't go to live in Thailand, they go somewhere else.
