  1. Surely, Bought it from www.thaimobile7.com at 4th floor MBK

Any idea if this is a honest seller? Worried about after sales service and warranty.

The service was excellent. He installed A LOT of programs for free...But no warranty support from Samsung Thailand. He was honest about that when i asked. But there is a warranty card in the box that seems to be for HK buyers. The seller told me to visit his shop if any warranty issues happens later. What its wort, i don't know.

  2. Please people don't forget that if you increase your motorcycle over 250cc, you're officially move into another TAX zone – basically another dimension – if you get stopped by a police/customs stop you likely loose your motorcycle. Basically your legal 250cc motorcycle become, a non legal 250cc plus motorcycle which means... even if it was legally registered, you need to pay:

-unspecified penalty for breaking the law....,

-minimum 30,000 THB for fee for exhaust and environmental testing,

    -60,000 THB for registration fee...

So please think twice before upgrading your road legal motorcycle over the 250cc limited.... (250cc is the special tax limited in Thailand)

250cc limit yes, but only if the bike is imported.... But this bike is made in thailand. Same as the 650cc Ninja and Versys that sells cheaply without any import taxes....

  3. I've got a mate in Chiang Mai who installed the Big Bore kit plus Juice Box on his D-Tracker. He said that while it did give the bike a bit more go, it also made it incredibly thirsty. To the point where he returned the bike back to stock... Not sure what he did with the kit- want me to ask if he still has it?

If it is a 351cc billy blue kit i can buy it from him if he dont like it...

  4. Ok, nobody seams to know. Anyway i have just ordered a 2011 KLX250S from Rama9 and will get it at the beginning of march.

Does anyone knows any good dirt tracks around bangkok?. I have talked to the president of www.siamenduroclub.com that happens to be in the Kawasaki shop today. He invited me to their club. Anyone else here who likes to play in the dirt?

  5. Hi,

I´m planing to buy an off-road bike, Kawasaki KLX250S.

Does anyone know if there are any changes or new features on the 2011 model compare to 2010 model?

Is there any shop in Bangkok who sells compleate 300cc or even 330cc kits with new camshaft and all for the KLX250S?

    Thanks

  6. The VAT system in Thailand is a joke. I have been running companies here for almost 7 years and have NEVER been able to get back any VAT that we had the right to clam. ALL, bookkeepers, auditors have told us to avoid the VAT system as much you can as Thais does. Buy your things where you don't need to pay any VAT. If you clam for any VAT you will be threatened by the officials and told that it is best for your company to just forget your money.

Do it wrong and Thaiways and you will have no problems - Do it correct and you will be punished for it.

  7. I have a friend who would like to know about Visa-Non Immigrant "O-A"

1, If you apply for a Visa-Non Immigrant O-A at your Thai embassy in your home country, will the embassy issue a 1-year "Extension of Stay" directly?? Or is it the boarder officer who issues a 1-year "Permit to Stay"??

2, If re-enter (Mult.E.), will he get another year of "Permit to Stay" or will it only last until the visa expires?

We have heard and read about many speculation but i would like to know from who know this by his own experience.

"First-time visa applications must be made at a Thai embassy in the applicants' home country or country of residence. Subsequent one-year visa extensions can be granted locally, provided the applicant still meets the requirements."

"With Long Stay O-A Visa you are allow to stay in Thailand for a period of maximum 1 year each time

you enter Thailand and you can enter Thailand many times during your visa validity. (The issue date of

your visa is the date that you submit your application)."

"Upon arrival, holder of this type of visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand for 1 year from the date of first entry"

  8. This guy have a Non Imm-B and got a extension of stay for one year. Our visa sectary though this was odd too but was ensured that it was no problems "as long as he kept him self out of trouble."

Yesterday i got the information that immigration does NOT run their databases together. So the border immigrant officer will not know that the WP have been cancelled and therefore not issue any overstay fine when he leaves the country.

  9. Hi,

We had one guy here that have a permit of stay 365days based on work. We had to cancel his WP but felt that we wanted to help the guy with his visa. We sent our "visa specialist sectary" and him to immigration and got the information from a "high ranking officer" that he could still use his Permit of stay until it expires, no need for any changes even without the WP. This was totally new for me and i feel i need to listen if some one else here have heard anything like this before.

  10. Thanks guys for your answers. Back in my own country sweden, i can apply for a reduced tax if i plan to work less then a full year. Is sweden unique in this matter? This guy just arrived to thailand and will only work here for 6 month and then go back to sweden. And even if he does not return back, he will anyway not make more then 1.2M this year.

  11. Hi

If an employee (Farang) only works for us for let say 6 month and makes about 200 000baht per month, our economy personnel says that we have to deduct a monthly tax as it was a yearly income at 2.4 million baht when he in fact will only make 1.2 million this year.

Any one here who knows what the correct way is to calculate the monthly tax for this guy and other "short season" employees?

    Peter
