  1. Hi, I'm looking for some advice and hope you can help,

    Recently my friend who took care of my website domains and hosting, sadly passed away. I am now tasked with making sure that my sites are all under control so to speak. He always ensured that I had passwords for the domain registration accounts and also the cPanel so we're okay here, no worries.

    Hosting - this is the area I know absolutely nothing about. I don't know when the current hosting is due to expire or who its with as he always took care of that for me. Right now however, another issue is that I can see from my cPanel that our disk space allocation on one of my domains is full, so I need to do something about that - it's just that I don't know what exactly that should be :(

    Do I need to be finding out who the current hosting company is for anything? or perhaps should I simply be looking at creating an new hosting account of my own and then moving my site(s) to it?

    As you will have figured out, I'm no expert so if anyone has any ideas or recommendations on a way forward or what I should be doing I'd be grateful.

    Kind regards

    UB

  2. It depends which version of outlook you are running, but here's a couple of options for you to try;

    For older versions (Outlook 2003, 2007 etc) look along the menu toolbar and find 'Tools'. then choose 'Email Accounts', then 'View or change email account' and then click on the email account you wish to remove, then click 'remove'/OK.

    for Newer versions of Outlook , go to 'File' in the top left corner then select account settings. Should be self explanitory from there.

    Good luck :)

  3. I think the problem lies with microsoft outlook. Did you ever configure your gmail account with Outlook?

    If you can, open Outlook and go to 'account settings' and then see if this email account is still active. You can delete the account from there (if you no longer use it) and you should stop seeing the pop up messages

  4. Hi guys,

    perhaps not the most exciting of threads to grace the Pattaya forum admittedly, but here's hoping that some kind folks can help me source these items locally in or around Pattaya if possible!

    Large (food grade LDPE, PP, PET) containers of any shape with a lid preferably, with capacity upto approx 5 gallons/23 L

    Large carboys. I often see the drinking water supply trucks with these on (can you buy from them or are there shops selling these?)

    Rubber bungs

    Rubber Grommets

    Just a note to say that I have already looked in a couple of shops that I thought may have these items, namely Thai Watsadu and Homeworks, but without success. I accept that there are perhaps others but haven't checked as of yet, plus I bet there's a whole host of grommet shops out there somewhere with no signage smile.png Anyway, no major dramas for the bungs or grommets, I suppose I can order online as they're small, but the containers are a bit awkward in that regard, so would really like to find them here somewhere if possible.

    Many thanks & regards

  5. I encountered a few compatibility issues with some addons, notably Xunity's iStream, but seems to have been ironed out now - at least there are 'fixes' available. For anyone considering upgrading to Kodi v14 from XBMC's 13.2 Gotham I would advise they do a full backup first just incase they run into trouble.

  6. I have only seen a handful of their product range (ultimate liquid wax, black wax, quick spray detailer) at TC Car Care/Star Auto Import - North Pattaya and more recently noticed that Central has some products - but not sure about mirror glaze tbh.

  7. have you considered using a site theme template and then simply filling in your own content (with in-built html editors)? There are loads of very good quality premium templates to buy on the web, There are also free ones, but they may be unsupported and not updated - which is why I'd sooner spend $20 to $60 on a theme. All the design work is done for you, they're often responsive (which means they'll look good on mobile browsers too) You can simply customize them by howwever much you need, adjust the colours, fonts, layouts and of course add the actual content. Wordpress is the most popular and easiest content management system to work with.

    There are ways to build and run a wordpress style site offline, i.e 'local host' on your harddrive although I've never done it that way myself to be honest. You'd need some extra software (for example: WAMP). More details given here

  8. can try these;

    Skyplus shop - Sukhumvit Road opposite the Esso garage near junction with Pattaya Tai. Here

    Big Banner Company - on Sukhumvit Rd in between McDonalds and Pattaya Klang junction Here

    they mostly cater for large quantity orders, but have also done small orders for me too.

    Or... there's a few shops nearby Tukcom;

    Idea Art, which does small orders. Here

    Plus these 2 other shops not far away... Here

  9. gave them a call and could not order what i wanted. seems products on the website are 2 years old and the leather products i want are not available anymore.

    will visit their stand at the expo to get an idea of the new products (free entry tickets wink.png ). not that urgent to maintain my leather seats as they are brand new smile.png

    Just buy from ThaiWasherCarClub.. in stock, and cheaper prices.

    looked at their website but must register. where do they sell?

    We're not allowed to post links to other forums on TV, so sent you a PM with a direct link to the section you're after.

    The next person that wants to know can now get it from you tongue.png

    OK raffo77, do the honours if you would please and send me PM with the link that IMHO sent you cheers :)

  10. Frasers gets the thumbs up from me. The pretentious lamb pita pockets were delicious.

    The amount of moving & shaking I'll be doing there however may require a name change from Frasers to Parkinsons.

  11. Hi Mike, nearest to Jomtien i suppose is the shop on Thepprasit Rd near the entrance to Soi 8. Theres a couple others dotted around too. They sell some trade-ins and plenty of brands.

    Have to say though that my favourite shop is on the other side of town on Sukhukvhit Rd, along from Chaiyapornwitee Rd junction... Numchai, for many reasons but I suppose that may be a tad too far for you.

    If you need any help feel free ro Pm me

  12. I bought my Garmin Nuvi 2467LM from the SE Ed Bookstore on 2nd floor of Big C (South Pattaya) next to KFC. There are other branches elsewhere in Big C Extra and others.

    Powerbuy also stocks Garmin however the range is limited.
