The member declared "Pattaya is thriving" not one individual establishment.

Ok, but there most probably would be quite a disparity in financial capacity between the foreigner and the Thai. I'm not condoning four on a bike. I am focusing on a foreigner driving / riding whilst drunk, just to save a few baht on public transport. He may now lose his life savings for trying to save that few baht. For me, it's simply not worth the risk.

Pattaya Deputy Mayor visit injured couple who plunged into street hole

Could it be, the term "she's apples" was first uttered in Thailand, centuries ago? ???? -
Sounds like the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet, Thai style. ????

Interesting post. The Chinese will once again be the main demographic of tourists here in the future. Unless it's part of their package, they will not be getting on the boat. The Russians will not be back anytime soon. The Indians are returning in numbers, but do not get many days in country. There's the expats, who may be price conscious. What market is this route, and "onboard experience" targeting?

The For Sale sign going up is a fair indication of the finances and business plan of many businesses here.

Hardly. A few bar owners up here have asked for my advice. Their customers have been complaining their beer is warm. I will use my extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry to locate and fix the problem, bringing joy to beer drinkers in the province, and profits to the bar owners. ????

By who? When? How? You are just trolling now. ????

Fire breaks out in a kindergarten classroom at Pattaya City Eight School

Geez, do you think some members may be a little concerned because the the property they are living in has the same terrible standard of electrical work which could fry them one day? You are only looking at the news article, not the bigger picture, which effects us all. -
I'm surprised you, and your company, did not consider this. Would it not be part of due diligence? I doubt he will see it that way. Today you are about an "onboard experience" but tomorrow you could change to transport. Why would he allow you to put your foot in the door? Why would he accept the loss of even 1 baht from a passenger that may have flown to Samui, but chose to sail there, because they could? Leasing planes is not cheap, and they have to have a high booking rate to be profitable, more so now, with the higher cost of fuel. Some of the wealthiest Thai's, and successful Thai companies, got to that position through monopoly, and not by acquiring, but by using connections to halt their competition. I wish you all the best. I am all for variety and choice here. However, if the project is allowed to go ahead, you can be sure it's only because it benefits such people, either directly, or indirectly, and possibly corruptly, also, and most likely on an ongoing basis.

I live in Pattaya, but do not go out in Central Pattaya every night. On a night out recently, I noticed Papagayos was open, and the club with the pool in Tree Town was closed. I posted my observations. Were these on Youtube? If so, please post the link. That said, I am up north at the moment, but will be back soon, and no, it's not to visit some worthless farm in Issan, and throw parties for an extended Thai family. ????

Any idea what's going on with the nightclub just up the road?

Of course, I don't go into the kitchen. You are trolling. Do you think the food cooks itself, or the kitchen staff work for free? ???? You claim "Pattaya is thriving." Name a few places that are "thriving." Hungry Hippo is busy. ???? Anywhere else?

Why do you think this project will succeed, where the other one failed? The majority owner of Bangkok Airways is a Thai billionaire. I would be surprised if he does not use his considerable influence to hinder the progress of the project and / or make arrangements in which your company, indirectly, pays him anyway, most probably, on an ongoing basis.

Either do I, but I do make observations, and it's not difficult to see more staff than customers in an establishment. If you do not observe such things, on what basis can you make the statement "Pattaya is thriving?"

Correct, which is in contradiction to your post/s.
