I would at least hear what they wanted as living in Thailand for 22 years, the only time immigration has called me is when my extension of stay is approved. They never just like Thai police call random foreigners for no reason so, yes it's likely a scam.

If the OP felt like he was threatened and has PTSD, then why not go down to the police station to file a complaint as there is clearly CCTV outside Tops pointing at the street that likely captured the whole ordeal. Even if the cops won't do much, at least it will capture attention by local Pattaya news outlets and bring unwanted attention to the bar which those guards work at.

My 90 day report was due on the February 10th, I applied online on February 4th and it says it's still pending. Will they still approve it even though it expired?.
