The lifeguards in Patong beach are useless, I was there last week and saw them all on their phones instead of looking at the water. They couldn't even save a drowning fish let a lone a person.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Phuket. 1 week in Karon and 1 in Patong and had a blast. Don't know why people are complaining as Patong is no better then Pattaya and I lived there for 10 years. If you want nice clean beaches then head south, Karon, Kata, Na Harn. If you want to party, night life, malls etc then Patong is your place.

We have all done this kind of thing when drunk.
No we haven't as not everyone who is drunk acts like an idiot. You must be British...

Doesn't the UK have an emergency passport?, Many countries do which can be processed in matter of days, not weeks.

The 25-year-old victim then transferred her money to the scammer’s bank account out of confusion. However, she realized only when it was too late that she never had a credit card, so she was confident that she had been scammed.
You can't fix stupid.

Nobody will decline to say no mask if they go for their annual renewal. I can now see the bottom of the barrel foreigners who come to Thailand to live on a retirement visa or "wife visa" and their arrogance. And Thai immigration knows this and this the the exact reason they don't approve visas for more than one year at a time. They want to keep these arrogant people under control with their 90-day reporting, TM-30, and yearly extension, etc. etc. They won't say it in public but they know these types of people.
Nonsense, at my local immigration, not one immigration officer was wearing a mask. What should have done, ask them to wear one before they renewed my visa. News falsh, outside of Bangkok, many Thais just like us farang are not wearing masks.

You will get ripped off if you change money at any airport as the exchange rate will be a lot lower then outside the airport as it not might not be big deference if your exchanging small amount of money but if it's considerable amount then exchange it at any street or bank, just not the airport.

Hold on.... isn't this an Indian club?! Why on Earth would Thai teenagers want to go in there?
You can ask the same questions why Asians and white guys go there as well as I went inside last week to see what the hype was about this place and it's was 50% Indians in there.?

Shoe is on the other foot for once as it's usually the guards attacking the customers.

Guess you missed the part of the guy throwing bottles at the cops and trying to blow up the neighborhood. In any country in the west he wouldn't be alive to call any lawyer.

You call that being treated like animals lol....If this was in the U.S. or any other country where cops actually have a set they would be picking this guy up with a spatula by now. The guy was throwing bottles at the cops, almost blew up the neighborhood and being a menace. What are the cops supposed to do, roll up the red carpet and thank him for not cooperating.
