The tyres I took off and replaced were both Michelin City Pro tyres, which are very grippy, maybe due to the grippyness they are life-limited? Anyhow, change your tyres, it's always nice to do anyway.

    This makes sense.

Taking it to a shop and getting them to change the tube and tires, after telling them the issue, and asking them to look for any problems with the rim.

  2. Around 6 weeks ago I got a very, very slow puncture on my rear wheel.

I had a new tube fitted for 150 baht.

Same thing, it would be just noticeably deflating after a few days. Then I nit a big rock and it deflated almost instantly. I got home and pumped it up. It stayed inflated, when for a 20 minute ride and it was fine. I checked the next morning and it was as flat as a pancake again.

Got a new tube fitted again, now 4 days later it's almost completely flat. I've been checking it each morning and it gets flatter and flatter. After 4 days it's around 50% deflated.

The front tire is as hard as a rock.

    What is happening?

3 different tubes and the same issue.

I presume the tubes come with their own valve, so it isn't that the valve has an issue?

What could it be and how can I solve it?

    TIA

  3. I just had the best massage ever.

I've only ever gone for female masseuses, as I'm more comfortable with that.

But today I went into a shop and there was only one male masseuse, so I was okay with that.

I interrupted his lunch and TV show, but he didn't seem to mind at all.

When he was standing on my back, you know, balancing himself by holding onto the curtain railing, he kept on moving up and spent 5 minutes standing on my head. He really got into the pressure points with his heel. The sensation was fantastic.

Then, with a small step off, he pushed my head over with his foot so I was now lying on my back. He then, not so gently balancing, stepped onto my face with both his feet, the balls of his feet pressing into my eyesockets, and his toes gently rapping off my forehead while he was doing a deep mantra or chant was amazing.

    Mann Khi Nokk

    Mann Khi Nokk

    Mann Khi Nokk

Is it a typical mantra chant that male masseuses do, or is it the name of the massage style?

If I go to another massage shop and say Mann Khi Nokk while point at their face, will they know what type of style I want?

  4. You are legally entitled to one, and they cannot legally refuse to give you one.

Offices make up their own laws that are not the law. Have the laws printed and the ombudsman on speed dial, and let them see. All done politely, of course. Feigning dumbness may help. Oh, I need this, but these printed law says I don't, one minute, let us call the ombudsman to check everything khrap.

Your Thai translator girlfriend won't like that of course. Up to you.

For my desired standard of life(with 1 wife and 2 kids), I need to earn 120k+

    60k each.

That's very easy for both a Western man in Thailand and an educated Thai woman to earn.

By 40 years old both of you should be earning 100k+ per month each.

It's quite easy for a family with 2 kids to have a good life on 200-250k per month.
