  1. So when booting Windows 11 for the first time, my two browsers - Firefox and Chrome will still be installed and ready to roll with all my bookmarks and passwords still saved, or I would need to download both browsers again and import bookmarks and passwords? TIA.

  3. I've been in Thailand too long as I now never automatically believe any story, and also question if someone is really handicapped, having been taken for 10 baht by a blind singer that jumped into a tuktuk and drove away.

  8. Okay thanks. I don't know my Windows 10 Product Key, I presume this won't be an issue?
  9. I have a genuine Windows 10. The notification bar now has a blue symbol on it stating "Upgrade to Windows 11 is now ready for your PC". What happens to my programs and files if I upgrade, will it be akin to starting fresh with a new PC - it has no files and no programs installed, and I need to install the programs and copy or download the files again? Or is everything still in place and it is only a sort of cosmetic change? TIA.
  10. Windows 11 comes with Edge, which uses the same technology as Chrome. If you want Chrome, use Edge to navigate to the Google Chrome download page, and click Download Chrome. Set Chrome as default browser: Settings > Apps > Default apps > search for Chrome, and switch every file type in that menu to Chrome.

Worried that the rules may change on retirement visas I was considering going ahead and applying for a retirement extension. I known that you can get a re-entry permit but will it be frowned upon if I'm actually out of the country more than I'm in?" Memory loss due to old age?
  16. You were considering a retirement extension almost half a decade ago but were too ill.
