If one decides not to vote in such an important matter for his country, up to him. Fact is, that that the majority of voters voted pro Brexit. Non voters don't count. No one can know what they had voted for IF they had.

Though I believe in the long run it will be a good deal for the country to leave the EU I don't think GB is in a strong position in the upcoming trade talks with the US or other big players. It's market is too small for that.

Dulcet Decorum Est ... the lie that feds to the plebs.
Even the state run German TV had to confess that they painted a wrong picture in 2015 when they showed mostly crying kids and women while more than 70% of the "refugees" were young, strong men.

"Areas of the German economy experiencing shortages of skilled labour include IT, electronics engineering and, primarily, the health sector, where a rapidly ageing nation needs more doctors, pharmacists and care workers. The number of people aged over 80 in Germany is expected to rise by almost 50% between now and 2030.
Target countries the government believes to have a surplus of skilled workers with similar training standards and a “cultural proximity” to Germany include eastern European states such as Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine, but also Mexico and the Philippines.
I know about the changes because I was in an advising commission years ago which made suggestions to the subject (specivicly for medical professions) to the bavarian government.
The now made changes come too late and are a first step but they are not going far enough.
And by the way:
For me as - in some morons eyes - a "far right" or "nazi" it is not important where people come from, what their color of skin or religion is - as long as they are skilled, playing by the rules and willing to accept our culture and lifestyle.

You mean the hundereds of thousands doctors that cannot read or write? In Germany we have plenty of true doctors of many countries, especially from Iran. They are skilled, willing to integrate themselves and highly welcome.
But I seriously doubt the stone throwing offenders at the greek borders are of any use for european countries.

You say there are many young arrivals who work as nurses and similar jobs ,yes i agree and welcome them ,they have applied and got their visas ,they are not standing at the borders throwing rocks and illegally coming over in rubber dingy's then disapearing ,
these are the people we are talking about and you are standing up for .
The thing is, if you are skilled and from outside the EU and want to work in Germany you'll be refused. Me and others in my business are trying since years to open Germany for nurses from the Philippines. No way.

I provided some data in the last post.
But it seems that is not what many people want to see.
Because it's so much easier to say: I don't like them because they cost so much money.Compared to saying: I don't like them because they are different. Not me. I'm pro immigration as everyone must be who knows the German situation. The question is what kind of immigration. Germany - like any other western country - urgently needs skilled immigrants who can provide something to the society.
The people who came in 2015 are in huge numbers illiterates from extremely violent societies. Have a look at the crime rates.
IMO as long as Germany has tenns of thousands homeless citizens and a pension niveau that forces men and women into poverty after they worked all their lives and rebuilt the country after ww2 we should not feed a million migrants. If that's "far right" so may it be.

In which universe?
What money will the 70% illiterates out of a million migrants that came to Germany ever produce? They'll be a permanent burden to the social security system and a thread to a liberal society.
People living on social welfare don't pay tax as you might know.
Let's take a look at the costs:
Between 2015 and 2017 it was 43 billion Euro. The forecast for the following 4 years were aditionally 80 billion Euros.

Other countries would lock a guy like that away in a madhouse, in Thailand they make him a health minister.

It was the US led coalition (with mainly Kurds as front line fighters - 10,000 killed) who were the major contributor to the collapse of the IS Caliphate in Syria and Iraq. Want to dispute, then provide credible source links.
https://www.wilsoncenter.org/article/timeline-the-rise-spread-and-fall-the-islamic-state
You didn't read your link, did you? It says nothing. If you want to learn about the fall od ISIS in Syria, use Google again and if possinle, more than 5 seconds.
It was the Kurds on the one side and the russian backed syrian forces at the other that made an end to the islamist terrorists in most parts of the country. Some airstrikes by the US and their allies surely were helpful, nothing else.
You cannot win such a fight without ground troops. That's basic knowledge.

Idlib is the last stronghold of islamist men slaughters on Syrian territory and the terror friend Erdogan is on their side.
Thanks to Russia for doing the job the west should do. It was mainly Russia that put an end to the islamic state in Syria.

Same for you.
when the 30 turkish invaders werde killed, they were together with Haiat Tahrir al-Scham militia. These are hardcore islamists with close ties to Al Quaeda, supported by Erdogan.
Who controls Idlib?
Idlib has been controlled by a number of rival opposition factions since government forces lost control of the province in 2015.
The main armed groups operating there are:- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, a jihadist alliance)
- National Liberation Front (Turkish-backed rebel alliance)
- Hurras al-Din (pro-al-Qaeda HTS offshoot)
- Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP, Chinese Uighur-dominated jihadist group)

seems that Greece is willing to hold its land borders while hundreds of "asylum seekers" are invading Greek islands. The scenes there look like a civil war. Locals try to prevent migrant boats from landing, NGO members and journalists are attacked and the Greek government suspends applications for asylum for one month.

Not only. They also are crying for Nato help after the turkish invaders lost some troops in the war they have started. At the same time Erdogan sends tens of thousands "refugees" to the Greece borders to set Europe under pressure.
Not to forget: The turkish invaders in Idlib are supporting islamists.
