Three people I know went to the hospital as soon as they tested positive in ATK tests after the new years party though their symptoms were mild. Only one person's lung was infected and that cleared up after a week of Favipiravir. I may be wrong but I have a hunch that 80% people in Thailand going to Hospital for insurance claim.

I have been to more than 150 cities and did not find a single city where I cant get girls for pay for play. But Thailand is unique in the sense that 99% tourist bars are brothels fronting as bars and where most people come to find their prostitute brides.

My friend stays for 6 months in Thailand and it will be a perfect visa for him and others like him. Pre covid, he used to get an O-A (he is above 50) every two years but there is no need for that with this visa. Also, people under 50 now have a legitimate visa they can use for long term stay without border hopping.
