Move to Thailand permanently with 20M baht.
CartagenaWarlock replied to MrAscii's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I had 3 million USD (or almost 100 mil baht) spread over multiple accounts. One bangkok bank had one million baht. Gave my ATM with PIN to my hired 19-year GF from Poseidon to draw 20K (my daily limit is 50K in ATM) to test her sincerity and honesty. She got the money and returned my ATM card. Later she became mother of my daughter for which she was awarded handsomely. -

Cabinet Endorses Order for 30 Million Doses of Pfizer Vaccine
CartagenaWarlock replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Yes, now need third doses. The superior vaccines don't work in two doses because exploding infections in European countries and USA prove it and FDA has already approved third doses for all adults. -

Danish entrepreneur plays monopoly in Thai hotel market

Why biological imperatives can't be met in home country? Name a country where sex workers are not available. I will say it's the desire to find a 30-years young bride which is not available in the home country or another country in the World. -
They are scared and doing a slow reintroduction of tourism. Thailand never had a great tourism industry and 40 millions tourists is also too much for Thailand's tourists infrastructure. Opening up brothels all over the country fronting as bars to get bride and orgy finders is not tourism. Unless they introduce a new measures for social safety nets for bar girls, it's better they keep it closed.

So - how do you see climate change effects Thailand?
CartagenaWarlock replied to Thunglom's topic in General Topics
I understand. Just like thousands of people, unable to find brides and liv a decent life in their home country, migrated to Thailand. India's migration target is America where they can earn double the amount of native European Americans. -

CartagenaWarlock replied to Thunglom's topic in General Topics
India does not border Thailand so refugees from India are irrelevant. Migration? May be? But still I doubt a large scale migration to Thailand. India's eye is on America. That is where they will go and shine and earn double the income of European-American. -
I would say 80%. Exclude females and families, all are sex tourists in Thailand. Some are for as a stepping stone to find their future brides and some are for pure origies. The first category is mostly retired old people (more than 50 years old).

You are quoting western media's propagandized news.. No value in all the quotes. The only value is in your own assessment by reading exploding infection rate in highly vaccinated countries with Pfizer and AZ so much so that they have to give booster shot whose effectiveness wanes in few months only. What a scam.

Pfizer is 39% effective according to a Israeli research. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/23/delta-variant-pfizer-covid-vaccine-39percent-effective-in-israel-prevents-severe-illness.html Exploding infection in UK does not at all convince me the propagandized effectiveness of AZ.

Is this the end of Thailand as a Retirement Destination
CartagenaWarlock replied to Robin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Everyone, including self-insured should have a high deductible insurance in my opinion. If you get insured before reaching 70, you can continue up to 99 years old. -

Elite update
CartagenaWarlock replied to Markus700's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I bought a 20-year elite even though I qualified for a retirement. If I knew I could get a retirement through an agent for 15-20K, I would have bought the retirement extension instead and put the money in S&P 500 and the return will have paid for the agent fees many times more. Another issue I found with a retirement extension that I have to be time bound to be in Thailand on some specified time or else start over with the process. Elite give me freedom to not abide by any retirement extension at an expense.
