So you've fallen for the immigrant stuff too then . Amazes me how easily folk are brainwashed by misleading articles from the biased media and a couple of disruptive s***stirrers in a new party over in the uk .
Sad state of affairs , " must be true as the mail and s*n said so " ... Free press eh .

Not wanting to draw attention to himself dressed in full hells angels colours and waving a loaded pistol about Mr Mcgahey, thought to be a mensa member , wonders what all the fuss is about . " I was only going to 7-11 for some corn on the cob and a nice cheese toastie cobbers "
Guess a few years in pokey now then unless he's very well minted .

If Thailand dropped its 72% USA import tariff, trump would drop the 36%.
What is it that USA exports that is so sought after in Thailand ? Can't be the crappy poor quality cars they make , Hardly Davidsons for the ultra rich or is it the chemically converted chicken and beef , maybe Boeings with bits falling off or inability to fly straight ?

Who cares , they're usually the most expensive choice anyway and fleet is nothing special nor is the service ... lining pockets of the chosen few in the hierarchy within .
Amazing how quickly they bounced back from bankruptcy too , wonder if they've ever paid Boeing and Airbus what they were owed ?

Amazing sentence. I was raised seeing miners happy to walk to the bus stop to catch the bus to their afternoon shift.
After 40 gruelling years in an office without planning for a retirement it seems .. guess it was surprise when he retired after all who knew eh ?

Not sure where you get that from.
1) When they <deleted> up in investing in UK Steel, they increased costs in Thailand for banking facilities to write off the debt hence there was fee(s) associated with card withdrawals (increases) from non domestic bank cards (as an example but there were many.
2) When they repo a property/asset they allow it to sit on their books rather than reduce (trust me i tried to buy a repo property that had a tree growing through it.3) They spin out bad debt into new entities opposed to having it sit on their balance sheet bringing it down (hence SCB pushing CC into CardX).
I just made it up of course, I know nothing as Sargeant Shultz would say .

That is pretty f——- up. What difference does it make where they live if one is vetted and qualified.
Glad America doesn’t have that policy but if Harris wins anything is possible to include complete forfeiture to give to those who refuse to work. Socialism is what she represents.
Haha typical yank , socialism isn't communism which is what's got you folks all hot and bothered on the belief that the commies are out to get ya . Old agent orange will save you for sure as he's really got your best interests at heart of course .😜

Ex-nurses, firefighters & Police Officers all get “Final Salary” government pensions which are very generous & exempt from Tax in Thailand.
It’s the average Joe with little/no additional pension that feels this the most.
Should have moved to Philippines (where State Pension is not frozen).Or planned for their future whilst working and ensure they're not reliant on a state pension which if that's all they had in the uk they'd be struggling even more .. no pad krapow at 40 baht etc etc ... it's no mystery , you'll need money when you're older so plan ahead while you're younger and then the state pension becomes your "beer" money .

Thailand needs to capture as much of the manufacturing leaving China as possible.
This would help close some gaps.
It's consistently failed to capture that opportunity as the leader focus is only inward facing and reliant on tourism .
Vietnam has stolen the March on that and Thailand struggles to create meaningful strategy and conditions for manufacturing industries .
The Thai banking system is all about flooding easy loans and high debts thus ensuring it can repossess and sell on at 50% value and maintaining the rich elite
The baht value is set as they wish , it's not tied to any other currency rather a tool of that elite .
Forget manufacturing in Thailand.

And now they want to tax us on our WorldWide income, offering nothing in return for that money?!
Give us land ownership, Permanent Residency, no more TM47/TM30/COR's/TM6/Etc., make farang pricing illegal, treat us like tax paying Thai citizens and then maybe being taxed on WorldWide income might make sense.
Do they need us ? Maybe they'd like to clear us out and this is one sure way to thin out non tourists etc 🤔
