  1. Lesson one when Internationally trading , always do your due diligence . I visited one of those mentioned in the report for a potential customer as I was on the ground in Thailand and know how things work when millions of dollars are on offer and demand is critical. The company I visited were clearly fraudulent although they had set up a good front including offices , staff , advertising etc etc... ISO Certificates "copied" from authentic glove manufacturers but unauthorised , CE letters copied , fda logo falsely applied , all of which was easy for me to discover etc.  Run by a very senior ex Thai forces member with clear links in high places  .  I am at a loss as to why people would commit millions of dollars without doing any work to validate and verify what and who they are dealing with. Buyer beware ... if the US guy wants to send me a million dollars I'll supply him nothing at all and will never answer his calls and messages but I am real and will spend it wisely. There are reputable global sourcing businesses out there who will carry out due diligence on the ground and pre inspections before shipping to ensure buyers get what they want ... for a few quid it would save potentially millions for you.

  2. You think they are any different ? Mr Xi is the top godfather of them all , no surprises any of his potential rivals have been strung up over the past few years on "trumped" up charges (no pun intended).... Self appointed Chairman for life equates to unchallengeable dictator just like his pal in DPRK.

Thailand is mafia run both military and police and there is sweet Fanwah Adams anyone can do about it except suck it up , pay the necessary to stay out of courts and hope they destroy each other just as any mafia do eventually (to be replaced by a new "family" of course). Elections yu say ? Don't waste your time on those either.

Limited clinical trials have proven that Sinovac is not very effective against the Delta variant of Covid. So why is he still buying it? Also l believe it is one of the most expensive vaccines on the market being 2-3 times more expensive than other similar worldwide made products. Again l ask, why is he still buying it.???? Also it has been in the news that people who got two Sinovac shots will now need a third one. Why?????? Total incompetence.

Easy to answer , they're all in the "red envelope" scheme from Dictator Xi . Thailand is an SAR of the PRC . Thai has been brought by the CCP just like most of Africa and the other SEAC.

This lot need to be taken down or it'll get far worse than it already is however I fear that'll mean a Myanmar type event .

I have 11 Thai friends in England and all are fully vaccinated, even an illegal who comes out of the woodwork gets the jab no questions asked, its as the OP says, nothing is accomplished until all are vaccinated

I got cheesed off and left 12 days ago to uk with my thai wife ( she's on tourist visa) and after 10 days home isolation we went to a walk in centre and both got first shot of moderna no questions asked and free of charge. UK is a f*****d up place in many many ways but they understand the way out of this is to vaccinate everyone regardless of status or nationality.

I'm still flabbergasted Thailand isn't manufacturing vaccines in country , they have all the tech required , maybe a loss of face involved here being non thai vaccines or still negotiating the rate of under the table psyments perhaps ??

Best wishes to all in Thailand,  a fabulous place to be in so many ways but frustrating in many other ways too ... still hope to be back asap.

  5. Really would of expected a lab in Thailand to have been producing vaccines under license by now . They set themselves up as the "hub" for medical and pharma going forwards , lot's of tax incentives on offer for example for medtechs to open in Thai.

Is the issue one of face perhaps ? Seems shameful to run cap in hand to the west to resolve the situation maybe ? Very Thai of course.

Undoubtedly the current regime is supremely incompetent being mostly staffed with military millionaires without any knowledge or expertise in most areas and too proud to call on real experts in the field.

I fear many more deaths unfortunately until they get mass vaccination in place and with effective choices.

Focus on production , there is available technology in country oh and streamline the acceptance and sign off for "foreign" drugs rather than the extraordinary process in Thai FDA for approving anything that isn't Thai or supported by under the table money to the already million and billionaires .

If these figures are to be beleived, we'll done Mr P (sarcasm) another waisted time and money, why isn't the Government listening to health experts that the Sinovac vaccine is useless.

You are aware that being vaccinated does not stop you becoming infected with Covid I take it ? The aim of vaccination in this case is to lessen the chance of needing hospital treatment or dying from covid i.e. making the severity much reduced... There seems to be a view that vaccination will mean you don't get covid , that's incorrect .

Former red-shirt leader Nattawut Saikua has just posted on Facebook that he has tested positive for #COVID19. “I was vaccinated with 1 dose of AstraZeneca vaccine on 8th June. On 8th July I went to test for COVID-19. I was told a moment ago that I have tested positive.”

The vaccine does not mean you cannot catch covid therefore this news isn't news . Vaccines lessen the chance of serious illness or death from covid ... please note the word lessens ... Hospital admissions and deaths are the real measure of this ( although in Thai admissions may not be due to every positive test being required to hospitalise even if mild or no effects).

The problem is that people also dying from poverty, depression and even starvation when they cannot go to work.  this is what mexico figured out in the begining of the pandemic, hence never closed corders and never imposed any lockdown. the result is indeed some deaths, but the economy was saved, and economy equals life.

the key point here is vaccines. if the doctor has respect for the vaccines, he must also respect the vaccines from other countries. what he is saying actually is that vaccined tourists cannot enter, because thailand is not vaccinated yet. but if the vaccines work, than no need to worry from vaccinated tourists, and if the vaccines do not work, than why to vaccine thailand at all?

321000 is what you call "some" deaths ??

In Europe some countries totally stopped vaccination plan because too many suffering of symptoms and death was resulting and THAIland just keep pushing it with full gas. It’s unbelievable how much they always delaying in any kind of understanding

Your evidence is what ? No European countries are stopping vaccinations based on 0.0001% of side effects etc ... If you don't want it fine but don't spread untrue and unvalidated information as a scare tactic please ...

You don't think these global scientists regularly communicate then ? It isnt just different people in different labs you know , information is shared constantly between all countries , yes including China. Back to the daily Mail for you ...
