i will said, keep 3 days supply in your grinder

keep 2 week supply in a special container in your fridge

the other part in the freezer

some fridge have less moisture as some other, I keep my bean outside, I try chest freeze them for holiday and do not have problem

I am surprise no one mention the packaging importance outside the vacuum pack.

Serious company use a special package, it as a valve, air from natural fermentation can go out but not go in, it make a large difference between storage for keeping beans

b-one of my other friend working in Sathorn got a call, the boss book hotel rooms for the staff to be able to work ... WOW !

In the UK and most of the west you pay CGT on bullion, currently 18% but soon to be 40%. Best to pay the premium.

99% of vietnamese civet coffee is a hoax no question about it.. made in a chemical vat that is supposed to represent the digestive tract....if your paying less than 300-500 usd retail youve been had... even then in vietnam its questionable that your getting the real deal either civet or deer, you want the real deal let me know ill provide pics of the lil devils... snacking away, pre and post production , no joke sumatra produces about 1,000 kgs a year max evrything else is farmed...ie bali, or chemicaly produced... vietnam... but i just scored 3 kgs

You must be totally right, i did not paid more of $40 a kilo, but believe me, it was good, and miss it.

Bit fermented and alcohol, chocolate after test, strong with good cream but so smooth, perhaps not for everyday consumption.

I generally get my bean from the fresh food market in Hanoi, big bean, golden brown, very hard shell, I can hear my grinder working harder on it, but Vietnam coffee for my experience are superior of whet i can find here (Thailand), i reduce my take to 2 double espresso a morning now, use to have double amount before.

I am sure in Indonesia you could find great coffee as well.

I would use the Embassy method rather than asking people to work for no fee.

I will need one soon done as well from the Australian embassy.

Vietnam coffee is excellent. it tastes like any other coffee you have ever tried.

I went to vietnam and brought several packs of coffee, Trung Nguyen brand.

it's the most delicious coffee, very strong thou, you need to put small amount in the machine/filter.

I bought for 2 dollars each coffee pack. they sell for $5-6 on the website.

I am so used to buying coffee beans, roasting them and grounding them at home, or at a store but in front of my own eyes. so I'm not so used to buy packed bags of pre-roasted and ground coffee. you mentioned some brands .. most of them I never heard of in my life!

Bit same as you, I only buy beans, as i ground my own with a Gaggia grinder, that limit my purchase, I did the round of shops few years ago, did not find anything spectacular in place like villa market or other, the best I got was in paragon, i think Suki brand, very good at over 2000 baht a kilo, like to stay around 800 baht a kilo.

I have a friend base in chiangrai, he send me three time different Hills brands as well, did not find them so special.

Against what people can say about Vietnam, it is where I find the best beans until now.

Perhaps with more espresso machine for domestic usage on the market, it will attract more shop selling beans?
