The lockdown and travel ban are the main reasons why life has been pretty much normal (outside of the tourism sector) since May.
A lockdown at the first sign of infections is a good idea. I dont see how waiting a week or two will help. A later lockdown will just cause more misery to a greater amount of people in the long run.

People past their life expectancy? Seriously? You're heartless. And many in the prime of their lives are being struck down also, some suffering long term effects.
A covid denier for sure.
Some truth to it to be fair. 70,815 over 75 died of covid out of 261,530 total deaths in th US. Average life expectancy in the US IN 78.
55, 985 were in the 65-74 age range. That is pretty much half of the total of covid deaths.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/ 18.1million cases
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1127698/influenza-us-deaths-by-age-group/ 45 million cases
By comparison you can see that this virus is more transmissible and dangerous than normal infuenza. The interesting thing is that it only seems to be especially dangerous to older people.
When you start looking at the younger generation there is a argument that it could be less dangerous than influenza especially in the very young.

Demolished is probably the right term as it will knocked down to rubble and just left there being a complete eye sore until the jungle reclaims it

So a recruitment agency is sending people to work but previously they were not tested or quarantined?

The new UK variant appears 70% more transmissible.
How do you use the word "appears" then mange to calculate a percentage?

Luckily they made those health centers all over the country a week ago. It's like they knew????

Pretty much any beach is good on samed right now as there are no tourists. Gets busy on Saturdays with Thais but there isn't the need to stay far away from the center now to have a peaceful trip.

My lady in Nong Khai recently paid 5000 baht for a tooth extraction and she said that it was half the price she was expected to pay for similar treatment in Pattaya. Your 'Standby GF' was probably giving you best value or merely asking you to contribute rather than paying the full price
Seems high for me in Nong Khai!
@Thantakit in Bangkok it costs THB1,500 to THB2,000 (US$44 to US$58) to do a simple tooth extraction. As for extracting a fully erupted wisdom tooth, you need to pay double the standard rate at THB3,000 to THB4,000 ($87 to $116).

Even during lockdown my Cambodian cleaner was able to pass through the border for a fee of 2000 baht. People are only just finding out about it now

If the quarantine was more reasonably priced then others may come but being fleeced and a 14 day hotel arrest isnt gonna work

it spreads 20 percent faster? How is that calculated? Id imagine most people give it to themselves by touching a infected surface and touching their face.
Science has said it takes around 15 minutes in the company of a infected person to catch it. My cousins wife had it and they sleep together and have a child and nobody else got it. 20 percent more is something like 12 mins. Obviously if somebody coughs or sneezes in your face then its different but how many times has that happened to you in your life?

Go on Youtube and find a video from the last week

Lets wait about 2 or weeks to see the consequences after this weekends holiday.

"We are about to reopen the country but now measures must be reviewed.”
This happened while you were closed. What will stop it happening again?

It's all relative. Some people can abuse their body and live to 100. Others cant. Other factors. Diet, exercise but most of all genetics.

Thailand reports 382 new COVID-19 cases

Not all of the people i refered to were between 65- 74. Maybe you need to read it again. 70, 815 were between 75-84. The other 50,000 were 65-74.
Anyway my point being that it seems to be targeting elderly people obviously. A quick fact check shows that 8 out of 10 deaths of covid in the US were over 65. From the data provided if we took people under 42 half the age of the highest age given we would see that people under that age group only account for 7,367 people. Less than 2%. Its seems that maybe it isnt that dangerous to younger people considering this age group is the people who tend to break the rules more like meeting friends/partners. Drinking, partying attending protests and breaking curfews.
Considering this it seems unreasonable to impose these lockdowns to the masses. Protect the old, ill and even the ones that are scared and let everybody else get on with normal life. If there is little to no immunity and if it mutates then present vaccines will probably not work then what other choices do we have?
