What do the different uniform colours mean.

A friend's new girlfriend  wears a blue uniform and has 3 golden stars. I'm wondering what rank she holds and if she is military, police or a public servant.

I think that everyone here on TV knows at least 1 person who is depending on loan sharks.

Those numbers are not reflected anywhere and many have lost house, car, land etc because unable to repay their loan. 

I'm wondering how much a public servant here gets paid.
