Like most things in Thailand, it is not as it appears... The base car is a CLK240, but it has had the entire CLK63 Black body kit installed which was purchased from Benz in Germany... The hood (bonnet) is aftermarket as the factory CLK63 did not come with hood vents... The modifications were done by KJ Modify in Hat Yai... It also has the CLK63 exhaust, steering wheel and disc brakes... It handles really, really well, but as far as power, it won't pull a greased string out of a cat's <deleted>... I've been looking for an aftermarket turbo system, but no luck so far... My mechanic says we can yank the stock engine and put a 2JZ in it to get more power, but that's a bridge I don't want to cross for now...
I wanted the Sierra Cosworth but was a bit short on "Baht".
I went for the Ka, full Cosworth conversion.

Why China and no-one else?
Easy
If Thailand would allow foreign embassies to bring in vaccines to inoculate their citizens, it will be seen as Thailand is weak, Thailand would lose face and that's not going to happen.
If Thailand allows foreign embassies to bring in their own vaccines, probably different ones then Thailand will get, losing face again.
Thailand would lose the power to negotiate with Pharma companies (thais like to dictate).
Private hospitals would complain and ask why they can't buy directly vaccines and get on with the vaccination programme. Again, Thai government would lose face.
China: That's another pair of shoes. It's not what Thailand want but what China tells them TO DO.

I had my pla Ra, Thai Chili, and Nam pla Vinegar sauce drink to kill off Covid, of course a witch doctor gave it to me as he placed a curse on Covid. Now with my amulets, and sak yant tattoos I am bullet proof, oh I forgot my head is shaved, my eyebrows too, and I am wearing that robe while chanting the Rattanasoot Prayer the Good general Prayut has made mandatory.......
This post is dripping with sarcasm, as the indian variant slowly and silently moves around from house to house.
I remember you.
Looking smart.

5 People in risky jobs such as teacher, public transport drivers and advisors travelling abroad
Well, what's about the happy girls, massage girls etc?
Does it also count for the hi-so thais, travelling to the USA to get a vaccine?
8 Foreign nationals and migrant workers
At least, we have the lucky number

Even after completion, the Asset will go onto the Banks Loan to Asset Ratio Portfolio, and if there are no buyers the Asset then becomes bad.
Exactly and do not forget about NPL

You're right, this is obviously only possible with China, because they can force the manufacturer to send vaccines somewhere.
I guess in most western countries, this would be impossible. Even under the current situation with special laws. And even then the government would give a toss about foreigners abroad. They will always say you can return to get vaccinated, not our problem that you'll reside elsewhere.
They can force Thailand, whatever they want to do....

The Construction Worker Camps certainly seem to be the center of the new outbreaks, which is certainly bad news for all.
I wonder how long all these clusters have been kept quiet from the Media.
With the numbers of people involved in these Builders Camps ( approx 450,000 in Bangkok alone ), this could get as bad, if not worse than the Prisons.
However, this also raises the question " what about all the overcrowded Factories, and other sweat shops ".
Are there cover ups happening here also ?
Are the high Infection rates of all these places only being slowly drip fed out into the Public domain to ease panic and the pressure on the Hospitals.
We can only guess, and try to protect our Families as best we are able.
Building even more hotels and high-risers must continue.
They are under pressure from the banks to get them ready.
Thing is, there are no buyers.

Let's hope this goes international. Saw mention of it on Austalia's national broadcaster. Of course it's not just Thailand with these conditions in prisons. Many countries are guilty of treating prisoners as sub-human. By the way I believe Thailand has the highest number of female prisoners per capita in the world.
I could volunteer to take in a few of those ladies after inspection.

Sinovac... basically a placebo. Wouldn't take it if you paid me.
Additionally those ex-pats suggesting or demanding that local embassies supply it's nationals with vaccines are deluded. You come to Thailand for the sun, cheap woman, food, bar girls or whatever. You can't have your cake and eat it.
Sincerely
MORRIS
