At BigC Khon Kaen e.g.
Of course the headline is misleading.
District office (citizen registrar) has a small office (booth) there.
I passed by there in the morning a couple of times and be puzzled how easy it is for Thais to get a new ID.
And this is surely not the only "offshore" office in shopping centers etc.
Okey! I am amazed! Never thought that they would be able to do that. Actually a quite good service. Just never seen it, but not really looked for it either. ????

Imperial World Lat Prao (aka Big C since they take up most of the ground floor) has an Immigration center for Lao, Cambodian, and Myanmaran workers on the fifth floor. I know about it because I used to go there for 90 day reporting until they discontinued the service because it had become too crowded with their primary LCM customers. Anyway, it's possible this Big C also accommodates a secondary government service location.
No doubt they can have a service center for foreign workers. Doubt they will open an Amphur in Big C, though.

I don´t know who you ask. When I ask my wife, that is not even a fraction of what is close to the truth. On the other hand she don´t have to worry, there is always a cash stash at hand.

Is it that hard to figure out. Going with your last rhetorical question. Lots of bad things out there these last weeks. The people need a reaffirmation of the good things inherent in the culture. Now, I want to keep this warm and fuzzy moment going for my thursday.
So no nattering nabob of negativity OK ?!
just 'Get Off My Cloud'
Still stupid to forget that you have 700k up to 1,5M with you, and that can´t change on your cloud either. So, if you want me to go off your cloud, then just stop reply. Make sense, doesn´t it?

Just what op needs after flight from uk, crazy idea! Just a thought what would your suggested fare be?
The price was the first thing mentioned in the post you quoted. ????

And what do you suppose he should do then. Check in at a hotel and sleep? He asked for taxi advice to Pattaya, so why don´t you give him that instead?
To OP: I have always taken a taxi directly outside of the ones they offer at the airport. Never paid more than 1300 baht. Actually not bad at all. I mean, what is 300 baht up or down? ????

Wonder how much of that will go to solving the water problems. Probably about 50 million for the first project, and then they never will give more information.

Do you have any actual evidence for your 'hard facts', or is it just the usual nonsense you seem to post day in day out on here?
I can give you that. Based on what we read in the news. Just give me a couple of days to collect it over a 3 month period.

Yes, some people can stand it well. Same like me. I drink the tap water wherever I am.

Really? Then why do thousands, nay, millions of people in Thailand buy bottled water?
It is like this. People that grow up in a country, get the bacteria of their drinking water in their body at an early age. Therefore they can drink the water with no problem. Many citizens in many countries chose to buy their drinking water, though. If a foreigner comes to Thailand and starts drinking the tap water he can get really sick, because his body do not have the resistance to the bacteria.
However, this is about the danger regarding the level of salinity in the tap water. They are doing the tests and say it´s not any danger in that. If we shall belive them or not, is not relevant, but they do not test any other aspects of the water when bringing this in the news.-

Has nothing to do with that. You just get yourself hung up on irrelevant stuff. Same like I would say that you are probably not sitting in "The Korova Milk Bar", right?
When you couldn´t get me to admit something I never posted, then you just jump to next irrelevant remark. Just answer my question instead. When did I post that I came from a country that do not have its share of idiots, @rseholes, and scammers, like you tried to insinuate?
Are you finished with your BS now, or are you taking another irrelevant swing at something you make up on the fly that has no substance?-

When did I say that? I am just stating the hard facts, that Brits have a much higher percentage of people behaving bad, overstay or engage in criminal acts in Thailand than any other foreign country´s citizens.
About my place? Ok, because you asked. It´s a whole planet of desirable fun, called Planet Matzzon.

You conveniently left out any mention of 1) what specifically there is about this place that attracts those sorts of undesirables and 2) who made it what it is and continues to benefit from the status quo. Despicable foreign parasites do not exist in a vacuum.
What? How do you know that I took away that information, and left out to mention that? I got everything I wanted to have in my post. You shall not come here and tell me what should have been standing in my post. Write you own one and design it like you want it to be.
But ok, let´s go to work:
No 1: Don´t know. It can´t be the this people. They are everywhere, but it doesn´t look like this dump in other places. However, there are almost more foreigners in Pattaya than Thais, so I guess it´s the foreigner that created this mess. Time to clean it up!
No 2: Out of the info above you already know that. The foreign criminal elements that since decades grown into the core of the city like an terminal disease.

Just the thought of that they actually let this be, grow and are doing this to inflict pain and suffering on the tourist industry is unfathomable.
However, I can sometimes understand the single Thai incidents and many individual Thai citizens actions. That based on the fact of Pattaya as a magnet for criminality and slime of the earth extremely rotten and unwanted foreigner the city seem to attract. If this comment was only based on them, then they could let Pattaya rot and build an unbreakable dome over the city.
Ok, as a good thing. I also personally know a bunch of good guys that have settled down in Pattaya, so that does not go for them or anybody else that knows how to behave. it´s just that the city unfortunately seems to attract to much of the wrong people.

Times are tuf, what with the gold shop killer still on the loose. Time to get warm and fuzzy.
And what did you just try to say?????
- Times are tuf, so that it´s quite understandable that people forget millions of baht in different places?
- The gold shop killer made me forget my cash stash in the restaurant or taxi?
- I am felt so warm an fuzzy, so I forgot everything around me and just went on my merry way?

Looks like you are siding more against Trump than anything else.
Yes, I do. I actually do not see any problems with that either. Here is why:
- Just because a person as an entrepreneur can create an empire of hotels and entertainment venues, does not make him a good material for the US president post.
- I find it hard to believe a president and agree to his actions when he is chosen as the few before him to be the front figure in an impeachment.
- He have no knowledge of negotiation on a higher level than listen to me and agree with me and I like you.
- He have made a joke out of himself as being the president that clearly can´t chose the right people working for him. That due to the fact that he is probably in the top 3 of president that fired most people working for him during one elected term.
- Regarding this specific assassination of an Iranian high ranking general Soleimani, he also have a hard time explaining why it was done. I think we have 2-3 different explainations already.
In fact, he is a sneaky little untrustworthy and incompentent person in the wrong place in life.

Watch out at Bangkok Bank new ATM cards
in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Posted
I am sorry to hear that they have been so bad to you. So much work and a hideous sum of 300 baht for your new card! It´s outrageuos! A high value customer like you should get it all for free.
Never been charged for an ATM card before??? They have been deducting 200 baht for you old card per year as a minimum amount. The new card are 300 per year. What do you think is wrong with that. Do you think they have been giving you discount on the yearly fee for the card?
