According to the article above, it just feels like a 4 year old entering the ring with a 19 year old assassin.

They are the biggest superpower in the world. Not because I agree with what they do, but just because of the fact.

So negative.
Could you explain me how they would be planting this rice as its specially selected by its owner and by selective growing. Its not as if they can get seeds for this rice easy.
Otherwise your disaster theory would have worked.
You seem to be very knowledgeble about this rice. Can you then explain how my wifes father can plant the same?
However, you are a little bit right about the difficulty to plant it, because it will not grow in all places as well as it´s one of the hardest rice crops to farm. This kind of selective thing like you hear, is about same true as all department stores in Thailand is selling the real brands.
But one thing I am sure over, is that everyone is going to try to grow this rice now, and then enough going to succeed to crash the market as usual. -
What is the problem? Why in the world can´t she apply for a new passport before you file an application? Or aplly for a new passport after and file it later in the application?
I think you are making a problem about nothing. -

Ok, that´s a step forward in this investigation. Now they only have to find the person that held the rope. Guess CCTV is out of the picture.

Yep, now he really solved the problem! This is a rather textbook case of insanity. Drought is a problem because the gound water level is at a record low!
What Idea does this mastermind get then? Oh yes! Let´s make 500 artesian wells and get rid of that little left of the ground water that actually still exist.
Great job Prawit! Your planet it very greatful, and will return your wonderful deed in a suitable way.-

We were all waiting for his solution to the problem, and what measures he would implement to tackle the drought problem. Now we have our answer.
It was exactly as we thought. He didn´t have a clue and as usual just let his mouth run at the same time making a joke out of himself.-

And now everyone is planning toplant this rice, and make the prices fall to 16 baht per kilo. Same like they always do with rubber, other rice, water melons, sugar cane as well as sunflowers and everything inbetween. After that they wonder what happened and complain to the goverment to get extra money in form of subsidies becuase they a struggling with their livelihood. It´s called overproduction, but that is beyond the level of intelligence on this side of the planet.
However, the rice field was very beautiful.-

Imagine how great Thailand would be with no military government and no religion !
But that´s how it is?? ????
The sitting government is democratically elected, according to our most precious and highly competent PM.
Regarding budhism, that is not recognized as a religion and only seen to be a belief.

Yes, if you know what I really should mean to be a monk, you would know that. On the other hand it was 20 years ago, and it was only meant as a reflection over how much worse it is today compared to that long time ago.
However, I can see that you don´t have a clue. You even put an emoticon were you try to hide your face. -

One idea is to do like the foctories in other countries doing the same work. Install a system that takes care of the smell.
28 minutes ago, toofarnorth said:Not too sure about this , something smells a bit odd.
Yes, thats what they all say. They even as far as saying it´s a troublesome odour.
37 minutes ago, DrTuner said:I thought Thais are used to the smells already. Stinky everywhere.
Hope you are happy. Now you managed to fit in another negative post that regards the whole country out of this piece of news. I really do not understand why you bother about Thailand at all if it´s so bad.

I have a set of morals codes that I abide by, not some jumped up junta <deleted>
Stop babbling! You as well as everybody else have to play by the rules od Thai immigration. If that is jumped up from the junta or not is irrelevant.
It´s going to regard you too as well as everbody else. Then you can play your little game, by beeing a tough guy, and call it what you want. That does not change the fact, that there are laws you need to obey if you wish to stay without problems in Thailand.A set of moral codes??? ????????????

NO
I was actually expecting such a childish and arrogant answer from you. You know that it is laws that you have to obey to stay here, even if you are a tough guy that think you can fool people to believe you. I would assume you are shaking when you stand in front of an IO.
However, this RH-US-man did not se it as relevant. The result for him to be that blind are now a fact.
Maybe you are telling the truth, and you do not see any laws you need to follow. Yeah, then maybe it will be you we see in the next news article of the same kind.
Good luck with your life in Thailand with that attitude. That is all the answer I need to understand why the Thai authorities think like they do about foreigners.-

Laws............. in Thailand????
I guess we are there again with a not so clever comment. I will ask you a question.
Do you feel there is rules and regulations in Thailand that you have to obey to be able to stay here?
(If so, then they are mostly laws. You know, the ones you are laughing at above) -
In this case I will blame his grandfathers, that were so irresponsible to make a mother and father that raised a moron like this. See I made good on his wish. I didn´t blame his parents.

There is calls in this thread for racism, that it would be a terrible crime, the rules are not enforce in the right way and excuses about loving rich and poor out.
Sorry guys! Nothing of this is even remotely relevant. They are enforcing the immigration law, and doing what stands in it.
People on this forum tend to complain when police do not enforce the rules they deem important. Out of their own interest of course. The same people also comes to this threads and state that this is not right.
What is right then? Should Thailand and the authorities bend over and do what ever every individual foreigner wish? You people can´t do that in you own home countries or any other country. Why would you think it´s ok for people to come to Thailand and break the immigration law, as well as trying to come up with poor comments and excuses?
It´s really easy. Just see to that you have your papers clear and there is no problem.-

It´s the first word I get kinda stuck on here. Animal lovers??? So, now they are coming out when it´s to late! Giving all the sad tearful stories. How come there was no animal lover before the dog bite enough people and was beaten to death? Why did an animal lover not take care of the dog before it was too late. Where was all the animal lovers then?
