The tourist visa OP mentions is the new 60 days tourist visa where you need ฿500,000 baht in a bank account for 6 months. Otherwise the requirements to get the visa is same as for the STV incl Covid-19 insurance and quarantine.
New 60 day visa????? what have I missed? is t nt the new STV 90 + 90 + 90 days that has those requirements?
Is there a new 60 day visa as well? -

You are just another EU bloke that either doesn't like or are envious of the British.....
Envious??? Oh dear! I would not at all like to be in the shoes of the Brit at present times. I actually feel sorry for and worry about the nation.
But, then again, some will have no problems while other will have to fight for their existence and ke big changes to their lives in the coming years.
Let´s just take all the expats in Thailand. Most of them have planned their lives so they have no problems whatsoever. Although, we will have a small fraction of, let´s say about 10-15% that can´t take another fall of 10-20% in the UK economy. That will really s**k, but it´s very close to becoming a reality.- 4

Oh, do not worry about that. In the future the UK is going to have to bite the dust and fight to be able to support their own citizens. Actually that fight have already started. The country you are raising to the skies in every single comment is on the brink of an economical breakdown/shutdown.
Look at the pound, look at the pound. Watch it closely, because you will se it fall down to numbers you did never believe was possible. All trends are supporting that.- 2

A personal opinion/approach of the situation, which some in the U.K. and even in the E.U., agree with.
However, there are some in the U.K. & E.U. with a different opinion/approach.
In my world, one opinion has no less or more value than another.I experienced regularly however in my life ( I am from 1948 ) that some consider their opinion as superior, and/or their approach of a situation as the only correct one.
And with that you were saying what in regard to the information you quoted?

I see a massive unity against a single opposition/country. UK can no longer live on old untrue war stories. They needed help then and they need help now. Look at the pound, look at the pound!
However, I do also understand that as a patriot blinded by the sharp light of the little thing the general population of the world call reality it´s impossible to understand nor accept. Now go be good and clap your hands for Mr. Johnson before the inquisition of reality finally sinks what´s left of the ship.- 1

To me it still looks like over 400% more economical power, as well as free trade deals. How do you see that?

Yes, it seems like no one is caring about what Mr, Johnson is saying, which at least show some intelligence somewhere in the leadership of Britain.
This is a total moron, that do not understand that he can not go against his peoples wishes. I guess the common citizen of the UK is going to have to change much of their daily life, just because ne person have a bad brain.- 1

The biggest difference at present time, is that STV allows you to enter Thailand and regular tourist visa do not.

Naturally! It has absolutely nothing to do with that 99% of the drivers in Thailand lack the common sense gene.

A step in the right direction, but not allowing it to be used for the first 14 days look's like there is a waiting period so that they can put the money into the accounts. The daily Max will be used rapidly go to the store and want to buy more than just one days rations and want to try to buy for a week
Yes, It´s a good idea. Unfortunately it has a big flaw. Only people with an account in Krung Thai Bank can use it.

Floods happen in England almost yearly in the same areas, nothing changes. In the US the storms and floods create havoc and devastation yearly but the people still rebuild their homes and businesses in the same areas, nothing changes. Yes Thailand has a lot of stupid things happening but IMO the epicentre of stupidity lies here in TV with the amount of dumb comments.
Yes, you are right regarding that you can not build system for hurricanes and tsunamis as well as the heavy rain that storms bring in. However, most countries do not get flooded after 2-3 days of heavy rain. So, now the hat is all yours.

First it would be nice to know what it is you will be sending. Very hard to give a correct answer on the info you have given.
However, in normal circumstances, you would not have to do anything more than sending and declaring what it is you are sending as well as the reason in the package description. It is the company that repairs the item, that has the responsibility to declare what they are sending back and why. Exceptions do exist, and therefore it would be good to know what you are sending. -

If you engage in illegal activities with the purpose to gain money, you must also be prepared to lose. This time in general 1,66 million baht per moron.
Time to learn that if your neighbours grass is greener, it´s probably artificial.

Brexit brinkmanship: Johnson says prepare for no-deal, cancels trade talks

Have you missed how the UK economy has developed during the last 4 years? Do you think an addon of higher costs for trading will be positive to that misery?
