When I built my house I had conduit run under the floor to speaker locations.

Surely you've had time to accept delivery by now. How is the new Ducati?
-
Like this one?I agree. I have always felt there should be something like a 250cc or bigger rule. What is that? The engine doesn't look like an evo or Twin Cam (the cyl heads), kind of like a shovelhead, but not quite right (or not at least what I am used to).
Looks like a shovelhead to me

My wife won't buy a watermelon without negotiating the price. Who's he trying to kid.

True. You know that most folks at Thaivisa have never broken any laws in their life. Anyone caught jaywalking should be drawn and quartered.

If possible, go to one of the fishing villages VERY early morning when the boats come in. We go to the pier in Ang Sila about 4:30 or 5:00 AM

Hi,
I will be returning to europe soon and as i am shipping some things home ill have just a few clothes in my bag going back, now i know that your only allowed 200 cigs when leaving at the duty free, what about if i buy 6-7 cartons in 7/11 and put them in my bag before i go to the airport, will i still have a problem if they see them even though the duty is paid,
Thanxs
Sorry, but this question should NOT be here. Smuggling is smuggling, cause you don't want to pay tax in Europe..try it and you'll see..........
The OP is not trying to smuggle anything. He only enquired whether there is a difference in definition in ciggies bought at 7-11 versus Duty Free. One might assume (wrongly) that if they weren't bought at Duty Free that it may be ok to carry them to another country.

Don't think you will find many foreign oil and gas workers working in the kingdom for THB 200k per month.

I tried to exchange baht at the airport in Shanghai and he just threw it back at me disgustedly.

Not sure this has been covered. I have a Prerunner that I intend to increase hp shortly. Question I have is:
First gear in the manual tranny is fairly short. Does the gearing need to be changed?

We've been driving a 1.8 for about 4 years with no issues and good power. Just ordered a new Altis with a 2.0 due for delivery the end of June.

Dealers do not take trade-ins but call used car dealers to bid on your car. I usually try to avoid this step cos it's not good for my blood pressure. Best to sell your car yourself. Taladrod.com is a good site to place an ad. It's in Thai but works great.

Guess I wasn't too clear. The child is in Thailand with the mother. The father is in the US. Child support was established in Thailand.

I've been asked by a Thai friend of the family to direct her to someone who can assist her in collecting back child support. She is Thai and he American.

Incorrect info. We just borrowed money from SCB to buy 2 condos. Interest is much less the that.
Thanks bangsaenguy,
The info from the family is correct because I have a handful of statements showing 15% plus that pdf on the SCB site has 15%.
OK It's hard to understand the facts but they have not tried to refinance at all - wife meant when the first go the loan SCB were the only one that would give them a loan.
Apparently they have asked the bank where they pay the loan about the high interest rate and they said to go to the branch where they got the loan. Guess what - they haven't bothered for 7 months.
I am guessing that their initial rate of 5-6% had finished 7 months ago and the loan reverted to this "Default" 15%. I bet if they bother to go to the place they got the loan then they might be able to get a lower rate.
Anyway, see how we go.
Cheers YBB
I'm reluctant to quote the rate my wife got cos I'm not positive but it was considerably less than 5%.

I have my Zuki in Bangkok getting some work done to it and was thinking of having the box sprayed since there isn't a plastic liner available for it and I would like to keep the box red instead of black. Anyone have this done in Bangkok? Place? Quality of job? Price?
I've never seen the spray-on liner in Thailand. I would much prefer it over the bed liners. The spray-on liners in the US do not allow your cargo to slide around like the liners
