As for apparel, tourists trousers and a long sleeved shirt look much better the the ones wearing shorts and a 'bad boys go to pattaya" T-shirt

The 60 day extension is normal practice. When I changed for extension based on retirement to one based on marriage, I was given the same thing. I had no problems

I agree with what most other posters say.
Last car was 40% on the front/rear and 60% on the sides. Very good during sunny days, but too dark for safe night driving. Current car is 40% all around, still good for keeping out the blinding sun and good for night driving. Basically a rule of thumb I have seen is that cars with 60% (or more) you can not see who is driving, 40% or less you can still make out the occupants.
It should also be noted that I've been told that the maximum allowed tint is 40% if you plan to drive into Malaysia.
The law in Thailand also states maximum 40%.I remember some years ago that they had a crackdown-where have I heard that word before?-on the tinted windows in Bangkok.
For me I always have my cars done at 40% and the windshield only a sunvisor at he top if there isn't one integrated yet from the manufacturer.
Can't believe TV are allowing a thread about something illegal to carry on.

Bought mine at Homepro
I went to the HomePro at Sukhumvit and Wireless road. I did not find a battery charger. I looked on every floor :-( Which HomePro did you go to for your battery charger please?
I'm hoping to go to Armorn Elect today. This is one example where availability of products in the West far exceed Asia. It'm hoping to find "the mother load" where car "stuff" can be found all in one location. LOL but TIT so maybe this doesn't exist yet. :-(
Thanks,
Keoki
Probably not convenient for you. Bought it in Chonburi

Mexicans don't even drink Corona. They will tell you that is for export.

I bought some of my furniture at the Lazy Boy shop on about Sukhumvit Soi 30. Not cheap but great quality.

Boots has a roll-on in a white container (house brand) that works great. I'm sure it's the same as Mitchum

I use polenta the same way I use cornmeal. Same thing if maybe a bit coarse. Foodland has had Jiffy Cornbread Mix recently, as well. If I could only find a cast iron skillet, I would be happy.

Bear in mind that Americans get much less vacation time than Europeans

Bang Saen is on the sea, about 45 minutes from the airport, and just over an hour to Bangkok

Now it looks like the Pattaya Daily News site to me.

May our god help us!
I would imagine that to run a nuclear power plant requires expert training; very tight discipline and strict adherence to the rules and regulations. Which reminds me, I have to drive into central Pattaya shortly...............
Hope you are not driving a Thai made vehicle burning Thai made fuel.

Your sense of humour is as bad as his food.
Give the guy a break. His sense of humour is not that bad.

I normally fly business but travel in the Middle East where many families fly business, as well. Well mannered children are fine but some of them need a baby valium before take off.

Definitely best not to confront. Identify him and pay motorbike taxi drivers to confront him.

I always like the way people with kids assume its normal behaviour and we should accept it. YOU chose to have them.
Yes, its so true that some parents seem to lose almost all touch with reality when it comes to their badly behaved little brats. Of course all those with brats will now step forward and flame me with vigor.
So I take it you arein favour of all kids being given a harley at age 5.
That's dumb. Their legs are too short.

Have to agree with the pest control company usage. We have them out once per month and have no issues with insects.

Patience? They shouldn't be allowed on flights; at least the ones that I'm on. Why should paying passengers have to put up with some brat kicking their seat or screaming or running up and down the aisles? Did I mention that I don't like kids?
