Why are "migrant workers" separated in the Thai government's statistics?

IMO, anyone who is not rich in Thailand is considered sub-human.

They want to convey the message that mostly it is the poor migrant workers. our bar girls are covid free and u can visit us worry free.

    Thank you.....absolutely correct.

If we ever get out of this horrible situation, 'that country' needs to be held accountable for crimes against humanity. And made to pay in any terms the world decides. Period.

never gonna happen. the economies are interlinked. west needs china as much china needs the west.

china has many western politicians in its pocket.

As shown in the last lock-down, the main concern wasnt money

    i was kidding .

but those taking decisions have enough money already. they don't need to worry about the poor and the marginalized.

though lockdown at this moment is necessary and anyone with symptoms must be tested for free including the unwanted foreigners . leave apart the guidelines about contact with confirmed case etc ... just test anyone who reports with symptoms...

  4. nobody can comment on when the flights will resume.  things were becoming better. but there has been an outbreak in samut sakhon. viets will thick twice before allowing the flights.

has vietnam allowed regular flights from any country?

may i recommend u to check with the vietnamese embassy in thailand if there is any repatriation flight and somehow they can accommodate u in that flight as u have all the paper work needed to enter the country.

Amazing that nobody blames China for it.

Didn't it start in Wuhan, or was that a bad dream?

i blame china for hiding it.

look at what Uk did, they found some new mutation(70% faster). they told it in public. that is how it should be.  there is no shame in accepting the truth. Uk told  public . that is what it shud be., if china told it to public in start and stopped flights, we wudnt be here.

  6. You need to look at the requirements too. is he a gamer? if yes then even 50000 baht laptop may not be sufficient.

if the purpose is just to learn computers then buy the cheapest laptop of any brand like hp , dell, lenovo, acer, asus etc.

u may consider buying second hand too.  available on lazada too..

u may consider buying a desktop(assembled or branded) or an all in one pc . again these are avaialbale on lazada. both 2nd hand or new.

if the child does tantrums about using a 2nd hand machine, tell them it is no 1 quality. it come from japan. ????????

if u buy the cheapest laptop, then consider replacing hard disk with an ssd.   SSD prices have dropped a lot and a small investment would bring a drastic speed improvement . replacement is a 5 min job and there will be YT videos about it. contact me for any concerns or question via PM

these days it is i3 , i5 or i7 laptops- 8th-10th generations... but when u go for cheapest it wud be some cheaper and slow intel or amd processor. that is why i am recommending changing hard disk with SSD to get a good speed in everyday tasks.

the OS would be windows 10 so look for anything with atleast 4Gb ram

contact me via PM for any questions. i wud be happy to advise

    Hi All,

I'm preparing to enter on a tourist visa with the intention of converting to a non-O for retirement in country, so far so good, but I need to purchase Covid insurance for the COE. My question is this.... I'm assuming I only need to purchase the Thai compliant covid policy that matches the length of stay of the original Tourist Visa, ie. 60 days to get the COE for entry. I know it sounds like a stupid question but I've learned to never assume anything in or about Thailand.

I'm looking at the AXA Sawasdee Inbound Travel policy, which for me would be about 8000B for 60 days or 11200B for 90 days.

about your question, it appears u r thinking to live for 1 year  in thailand, look for a policy which can be easily extended.

what if they come up with some rule that u need 1 year policy (covid) for 1 year visa,

see i dont know the visa requirements but all i am saying is look for something that can be extended easily online or by phone call. Also ,for 60 day policy effective monthly price is 4000 and for 90 day policy is 3733/-

not much difference. i would say go for 90 day policy. it would give u flexibility and one less thing to worry about while u r busy enjoying the beauty of  thailand.

i wish u a wonderful stay in LOS and an easy retirement visa
