  1. Tonight early kick off is due to the french fixtures clashing or something like that, i read it a few days ago and i cant quite remember the exact reason. There must be some way to watch tonights match. If worse comes to worse you can listen to it live from Liverpoolfc.tv but you have to sign up for an eseason ticket.

  2. I dont think theres any chance hel_l be recalled, from what i read it was just his manager saying in his opinion Heskey deserves another chance. I doubt Mclaren would recall him. Ive always liked Defoe, id like to see Defoe and Ashton play together.

  3. Hi mate, there should be plenty about just ask one of the tuk tuk drivers outside the station. I know there are lots of hotels around that part but im not sure which ones are as cheap as 500Baht. For a more definate answer try the issan subforum or check out what us locals us http://www.yahoo.com.com

  4. Yeah I saw this on the news, I dont think it was the national team though i think it was international university teams either way the Thais need to learn how to play football without little man syndrome and the media dont help much by gloryfrying the situation by showing all the best parts of the thais with funny music and sound effects. Quite funny really but theres no place for this in the world of football and Thailand are becoming a pain in the ass, remember the Singapore match, I refuse to watch or support them after that discracefull act.

  5. This company ships to Thailand, ive used them twice now and theyve been fine. You have to pay tax which fedex will sort out for you. I payed the FedEx delivery man my tax bill once i recieved the items. Even with the extra tax and the shipping its still half the price you would buy it for here in thailand.

I went for optimum choc mint because its by far the best tasting protein ive ever had and ive tried a lot of them.

$70 for a 10lb bag and probably add another 50% ontop for tax and shipping

  6. As long as you keep it in your suitcase or backpack I dont think youll have any problems having to pay tax on it. What are the chances of being hand picked out for a luggage search, not very high I would of though. As for getting in trouble for bringing it in to Thailand, it wont happen.

  7. HI

Does anyone know if there are any disadvantages to registering as a non uk resident. Ive been trying to fill out my tax returns and they have informed me that I should register as a non resident because I am in Thailand for almost the entire year apart from around 1 month when I will be in England. Im just wondering if i register do I lose any benifits of being a British national?

  8. So do you guys reconmend using VoipDiscount in Thailand even with the dodgy internet connections we have? Im about to sign up for it but I just want to make sure its going to work ok, I have a 1mb tt&t adsl connection.

  9. My boys 9 months now and weve just changed from mamy poko standard large nappies to the pull up pants poko nappies. There more expensive and are very easy to use when changing him, even i dont struggle. The problem with them is that at the back, near the top there seems to be a part that likes to leak poo if hes done a real messy one. We never had the problem with the standard nappies so were going back to them.

We also buy in bulk when we can, no harm in saving a little money when you can. You'll be glad you did save a little bit when you get the bill for his birth certificate and passport (UK) lol

babywalkers im not to sure about yet. A friend has passed one on to us but he hasnt started using it yet, ill let you know how many times he falls flat on his face before I take it away from him.

  10. Yeah I saw that place at the BTS, they had quite a few different flavours but i didnt try any as I already had my order on the way. Although the stuff is really expensive over here compared to the UK and even more expensive compared to the States. Protein powder in the UK seems to be twice as expensive as America and protein power in Thailand seems to be twice as expensive as the UK. For example a 5lb tub of optimun nutrition whey protein in America is 1000Baht, in the Uk its 2000Baht and over here its 4000Baht. I managed to get 10 tubs shipped over from America at 1000 each but with all the shipping costs and tax they worked out at around 2000Baht a tub which is what i pay in the uk so im quite pleased with that.

However does anyone know if you can bring Creatine into the country? I had a look on that government website that tells you the tax costs for imported items but it doesnt have creatine as an item.

  11. Ive brought some with my luggage but ive not be checked before, if they did find it you would probably have to pay tax on it at customs. Ive just had a years supply sent over for me from the states and had to pay about 30% in tax on top of the bill. If you do bring it just make sure you bring it in the original sealed tub.

  12. Martin Jol wont get sacked, spurs havent had a team this good for years. Bit of a suprise but I put my money on Sven going first, hes already admitted spending over 40million on players hes never seen play live before and they want to break into the top 6. Well have to see what Thaksins patience is like.

  13. A friend of mine in his early 40's has had a small bald spot on the back of his head for about 10 years and the other day when i was sitting behind him on the plane I noticed hes had hair implants stitched into the back of his head. I didnt mention anything as i know how much his bald spot bugs him, i just chuckled to myself but I have to be honest it looked terrible. Maybe its not the finished article yet but it looked so bad, just random sprouts of 4 to 6 hairs all coming from the same place. Dont do it!

  14. Hi Scouse

Thanks for the reply, im currently at the end of a non immigration multiple type O visa. I have until the beginning of October so when this runs out and we plan to go back. Whilst im there ill apply for another non O mulitple and come back on that, I know I could get a marrage visa and not have to do the boarder runs but to be honest I dont really mind doing them every now and then.

My wifes also mentioned that she might be able to get her name added to some land that her dad owns in Korat but im not shore how long that would take and how many other members of her family have there names on that land.

  15. Hi Moss

providing evidence seems to be the problem were going to have. We have no reason to return, she does not own and land or property. I work as a freelance digital artist and get all my work over the internet so i dont have a job in Thailand, im still paying all my taxes back in the UK, being resistered as self employed.

Ive have plenty of money in my account for the trip but my wifes account is bare to the bone as we dont use it although it could be topped up if needed. Well be staying at my mothers house for the duration of the trip so i guess it woul dbe a good idea to get a letter from her or maybe have her sponser my wife.

Thinking about it we dont even have evidence that we live together, i paid for a years rent at my property in cash, weve been at this place about 8 months so we have 4 more months here. We dont have any contract or anything for this it was done without all that. All the internet, phone, electric and any other bills I can think of are in my wifes name. I have a feeling that its going to be extremely hard to get her a visa for this trip as we dont really have proof of anything. Maybe I could get a leter or something of the landlord and get her to sign it that may help. We was also in a condo for the first few months but im not sure if my name was on that ill have to find out.
