To find the White Temple, drive south on the highway towards Payao. About 10 miles you will see signposts to the right. You can see the temple from the highway
The town is Rong Khun & I think the side road is number 1208.

When u come in at Sadao, u will be on highway 4. That will take u just about all the way to Phuket. There are plenty of signs & the roads are good. Take care between Phattalung & Trang - windy road.
Had yai has a good tourist bureau with free maps and good info to suit your interests.

SEA games in Korat (Nakorn Ratchasima)................
That is the centre of the athletic world. :
The center of the athletic world it may not be but as a Korat resident I am very happy about the Sea games. Korat received much needed improvements and a face lift. They now have painted lines on the roads-they've fixed most major pot holes-they've installed highway lights----and last but not least, built a really nice stadium which is supposed to be open to the public once the games is over.
Come down and watch the games. It is quite entertaining. I rather watch athletes compete for pride and fun (and a little profit) than those who are paid millions and bitch about the game.
Ski.....
They also painted the railway station, looks good.

I couldn't find half these places. Most of the resorts are more like motels, but clean & ok places to stay

About 20 years ago, a world war 2 movie was dubbed into the local language, the allies spoke Thai, the germans E-sarn.

We booked tix before with Tiger & got email confirmation.
Last week we booked again but still no email. Is the email no longer part of the booking?
I did get an email confirmation I recall 4 mnths ago but the seat I reserved by paying extra was not in the confirmation. You'd better email customer service. That is if Tiger has this.
To one of the posters in this thread who mentioned Valueair. Jetstar and Valueair collaborate on flying the SING-BBK-SING route. So, a plane from either company can be used.
I tried to ask at the customer service desk at the budget terminal in Singapore about the lack of email. The woman refused to speak to me.
The flight was ok, same as any plane.

Have You Ever Been To Argentina Or Uruguay?
in Thailand Travel Forum
Posted
Both these countries are great.
Costa Rica has the option of living in the cool hills but still close to the beach. Friendly people, good food. A lot of north americans have moved there in the last 20 years.
Some great places to live in Argentina. Bariloche area or north towards Bolivia. Argentine spanish is a bit different, possibly the Italian influence.
Politics can be a very sensitive area - the nicest person you could meet may not be all they seem.
Never go to a soccer game in Uruguay![:o](//forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
