    Oh my gawd. Russians routinely use crypto to exchange money from ruble into Thai baht, because Russian debit cards are blocked everywhere in the world. So they buy crypto for rubles first, and then exchange crypto to baht.

    I'm not talking about official celebrations. In bar streets they start throwing water at passersby according to their own schedule and it lasts the whole week! It's always been like this, not just this year. I just don't know the actual date when they start this week-long madness.

    I don't wanna stick with them, but I don't have much choice. Yes, they offered me to open a fixed deposit account, but it can't be accessed via the app, which is useless... What I need is two regular savings accounts. Gonna ask some agents, maybe they can help with that

    Both are savings accounts? You had to do this in different provinces, because they don't open a second account in the same province?

    You don't get it. One account just for savings, with restricted access, no debit card. The other one, with a smaller balance, for payments (debit card, online payments etc.)

    I tried to open a second savings account with Bangkok Bank. Went to two branches, both said that one person can have only one savings account. I called the call center and they confirmed this. But it really doesn't make sense to me. Has anyone managed to open multiple savings accounts with Bangkok Bank?
