What's wrong with On Nut? It's a good area, lots of malls, supermarkets. A lot of expats stay there. -

Social life and dating in Thailand

Have you tried dating courses? Thailand is one of the easiest countries in the world to find a date. I think you're doing something awfully wrong or your approach is wrong. I have a friend who in his 50s was able to get a 18yo long-term girlfriend (not a prostitute, not a bar girl). Of course, she's not HiSo, but that would be impossible even in Thailand. -

So you need a visa AND border pass at the same time? -
Yep, this the book store I'm talking about.

Left side, if you walk from Soi Buakhao, near the beginning.

Guys, can you clarify this thing: Do you need to pay for a Myanmar visa? Or you just pay $10 for a border pass and that's it? -
You don't know Soi Pothole?

There is a second hand book store in Soi Pothole, near Soi Buakhao.

I've been in Thailand 3+ years as a "tourist". They fact that they didn't kick me out means one of two things: (1) Either it's not so easy to kick someone out and they don't wanna take the trouble or (2) they're okay about my being here 3 years as a "tourist" as long as I don't work here or do anything illegal.

Stand your ground and don't be easily intimidated by the boys (and girls) in brown. They have no legal grounds to deny you entry if you meet the 3 requirements (cash, hotel, tickets). You never overstayed, you are not blacklisted. Everything they say about "staying in Thailand too much" is pure intimidation. I've been in Thailand 3+ years as a "tourist" and they tried to intimidate and give me sh*t countless times. I know all their tricks.
